I started my career in newspapers in the north west more than a decade ago and was hooked from the first byline. Since then I have been telling people’s stories across the east of England from the Colchester Gazette to the East Anglian Daily Times and the Echo in Basildon and Southend, gaining invaluable experience reporting, news editing and sub-editing. I have also had extensive coverage across the UK through my work with national newspapers, public relations and copywriting.

I now enjoy using my knowledge to help businesses, charities and communities gain the publicity they need by getting their ideas across through my words.

I live on the outskirts of Colchester with my husband and our son.
