Many of you have asked what was the purpose of our recent sourcing trip to Italy.
This brings us to the philosophy which is behind all our work, here it is:
- CASA RANIERI MANIFESTO -... "In our constant effort to provide you with the best quality food we individually select each supplier to make sure only the best ingredients make it to our kitchen. While doing so, we are aware of the fact that environmental sustainability is a key factor. That's why it's crucial for us to point out our philosophy. First of all we believe in using only seasonal ingredients. We also believe that sourcing as much as we can from local suppliers not only is a good practice, but it is also a meritorious commitment. As for those ingredients that are imported (such as: polenta, cicerchia, capers, dried tomatoes, etc.) we like to make sure only the best suppliers pass our selection. That’s why we meet every one of them individually and we visit their production premises. Only doing so we’re sure that no compromise is accepted when it comes to the quality of our ingredients. This reflects in the food we bring to your table, which, first of all, is based on wonderful, unprocessed ingredients, wisely prepared from our Chef, Simona Ranieri."
