The Caspian Research Institute (CRI) is a private, independent, academic and nonpartisan research institute headquartered in London, with an online presence around the world.

The aim of CRI is to promote a better understanding among policymakers and publics of the wider Caspian region, and to promote rigorous analysis of politics, security and energy in the area.

In pursuing its goal, CRI publishes regular assessments of the latest regional developments in Caspian Watch, as well as longer Policy Briefs. CRI also partners with media organisations in the region to encourage a dialogue on key issues.

In the months ahead CRI will expand its portfolio of activities.
