Goodbye cabarets, hello 500 sweet, sweet pounds cash! We are hosting a Lucky Dip competition on Saturday evening in the main Thunderball Room. Anyone can take part (except teachers), your £2 entry fee goes to charity, and the winner takes away a cool half-K.
... Registration takes place at the bottom of the stairs in the main complex (contrary to the booklet) from 9pm Saturday evening.
You must register in a gender balanced partnership, however you will not, of course, be dancing with that person. It is Lucky Dip after all!!

This was my first Camber dance weekender.i thoroughly loved it.My favourite thing was the dancing outside the pub coz it was nice and cool outside.its very well organised, with so many classes and freestyles , it's hard to work out what to do if get sleep too lol.Loved the silent disco - couldn't get me out of there.Loved Paul Brooks DJ ing and everyone nulining and Tim Sant .i was at a loss to miss out on Simonas Class and Steve Byde due to other things.looked awesome.Lindyhop was my favourite class and the freestyle after and the Sunday DJ from the pub at 6.45pm was fantastic too.Steve Thomas did great tribute to Gary and great Greenwich chalet party with Nardiya . i loved the great escapee competition. My suggestion for improvement is letting people know where their chalet is when parking their car.- They've paid for parking so don't want to find themselves far from their chalets with all their luggage.we were lucky but others weren't and it made them bit miserable the weekend as result.i loved the seagulls- we became friends too.Camber was totally awesome. Can't wait to go again.Thanks ceroc for Camber

Thank you Ceroc for another great weekend of dancing. Arrived very stressed Friday as my Mum very ill in hospital but tension started to lift as soon as I did the first workshop - thank you to so many for fabulous dances and for your patience with me on Sunday when tiredness and the aches and pains started to take over! Looking forward to the next one ...

So many brilliant classes to choose from or just chill out with friends no pressure you can do as much or as little as suits you.freestyle dancing through the night and several dance areas to suit your mood. Accommodation basic but feed enough for a few nights considering the cost and all the entertainment provided.

Our first weekender and we are absolutely hooked. Can't wait to come back. Still went dancing Tuesday night! That's commitment.

My first weekender and the first of many, many, many! I've never danced so much and my poor feet may never be the same again but it was worth the agony!

My first visit to Camber and it was an epic experience . Amazing ppl/music/venue and would like to say thank you to everyone who were kind enough to dance with me :)

My first experience at Camber and I shall be visiting again. Fitter and with more footwear options next time. I loved the atmosphere, lessons and the ambiance.

I love the chillout room, the DJs come up with so many great tracks, many of which I've never heard before. But it doesn't get going until nearly midnight, so why not let the Westies have it until then?

I had a great time, learned some great dances, and others I couldn't do! People were so friendly, was looked after by some great company. Pimms in the afternoon with 'dirty dancing' is a memory forever!!! A big thanks to the DJ's, music was brilliant, thanks to all the teachers. I'll be back!!!

Had an amazing time. Music in main room great and although warm it was no where as bad as it used to be now that the aircon is working. My best weekender yet thanks to the great organisation and fantastic crew. Even had a dance with the big boss :-)

Had a fantastic time from start to finish.. parking was a bit of a problem but with so many people there it was understandable. I think I speak for our group of 10 from Dublin we all had a ball.

First weekender with no idea what to expect 95% op people were so welcoming and amazing. Great music great workshops, a credit to the ceroc community.

First time but all I can say is brilliant, loved it, can not wait for the next one.

Fab weekend away, enjoyed it so much! Learnt lots of new moves and done a lot of classes. 5 stars for the Ceroc organised bits and pieces, but venue was less than a 1 star. Accommodation is awful - broken curtain, squeaky beds, dirty dishes, dust everywhere, drawers which don't close, and a chalet which was supposed to be for 7 people only included 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Bearable for 3 nights as you come here to dance dance dance! Enjoyed the experience so much. Will definitely be back 💃🏼

A brilliant weekend, top class music and fun. Silent disco with the rest of the peas made it extra special. Well done for everyones hard work.

Loads of dance areas, plenty of dance genres, multiple DJs, workshops, midday dancing , late night/early morning dancing. If you like dancing , you will love this. DJs playlist can be a bit hit and miss. The venue is a pontins holiday camp. The accommodation is maintained, it is clean, but it's not very sumptuous (somewhere between 1 and 2 stars on a 5 star scale). Parking is tight and some areas are poorly lit at night. Signage is too small and inadequate for purpose. Let's face it, you've come to dance your socks off, so pretty much you can slum it for three nights. As it's an experience, 5 star for the Ceroc organised stuff, though that is DJ dependent and 2 star for pontin. 4 star summary

First time at Camber - won't be the last - absolutely amazing and sad it's over already. Will be aching for the next few days!! Only thing that lets it down is the accommodation which is pretty awful.

Apart from there being a total overload of talc on the floor on Friday nite which turned it into an ice rink and that the main room was flippin freezing cold with the girls taking turns to warm up under the hot hand dryer in the toilets, it was really GREAT!

The worst Weekender I've done to date. Our room was teaming with ants, bedroom doors didn't shut and the flooring was ripped. The blues room and chill room where unbearably hot! On the whole the music in the chill room was great apart from the Sunday night. One particular DJ set was so upbeat it would be more suited to the main room where at least they have a air-conditioning. There were a few people there that were spending the first time in the chill room and for them this particular music was pretty undanceable. It felt like he was playing for his friends rather than the whole room. I'm all for something a bit different mixed in but not a whole hour of it. Roll on Southport in September.
