Hi all, hope everyone is well!
We would like to make everyone aware that our service will be very limited this Wednesday 22nd August due to Eid Celebrations.
Normal service will resume at 6PM the same day. Apologies for the inconvenience!

It has come to our attention that some very serious allegations have been made about one of our taxi drivers pertaining to unwanted contact with a customer.
Chalfont Taxis takes pride in being a friendly, reliable family run business for the last 15 years. We have built strong relationships with our community and local businesses, who have offered their unwavering support in light of recent events.
We wish to make clear that Chalfont Taxis operates a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy wh...ere drivers are found to be behaving in a manner that would compromise our core company values and principles.
The driver in question is currently suspended pending a full investigation. In the aim to remain fully transparent we have been proactive and approached the local council and police ourselves in hopes of resolving this matter. We are working together with the authorities and have taken all appropriate action in the circumstances.
It is unfortunate that the complainant, who was not in fact the customer, has now sought to threaten our team physically and has taken to posting multiple bogus reviews on our various social media sites in a bid to tarnish our long standing good reputation. We have now handed this matter over to the police.
Chalfont Taxis will continue to operate with integrity and honesty. We are committed to our customers and always strive to provide an excellent service in a safe and secure environment.

I refuse to use Chalfont Taxi’s after numerous hair raising rides, including speeding on the wrong side of the road for a good period of time. I felt like I was taking my life in my hands getting in their cars!

I and my family have been using Chalfont Taxis for years and may have been fortunate in only having one very bad driver who parked outside the wrong house and, despite being advised he was in the wrong place, made two pensioners walk up a steep hill with two large suitcases, and when dropping them off (late) at the station, made them get their own suitcases out of the boot. However, until I hear that the matter of the sexual harassment of a young woman by one of their drivers has been satisfactorily resolved and the driver sacked, I shall not be using them again. Taken you off my speed dial, Chalfont Taxis.

Disgusting that they have not even actually apologised for the sexual harassment suffered by a customer. Complete attitude problem from the staff on the phones and on Social Media it seems. Shame on you, Chalfont Taxies!



And no, this is not a "bogus review" from the complainant, but from a shocked member of the public! I was appalled to read how you seem completely unapologetic about the conduct of your staff, and highly defensive and accusatory about the original complaint which I think was very respectfully put. You seem unable to grasp how your attitude in response to this makes this whole situation worse and makes passers-by like myself feel compelled to speak up.



Woe betide anyone who ever has a complaint in the future, if this is how they will be treated by your company.

DO NOT USE. They have complete disregard for the female gender.

DO NOT USE THIS TAXI COMPANY. THEY ARE UNBELIEVABLY UNRELIABLE. Booked a taxi for 11.30. Half an hour later they still hadn't turned up. Shocking service. Tried to explain on the phone and the shirked all responsibility. Do not use them they will let you down. Shocking.

And I am addressing this directly at gentlemen in the true sense of the word, due to Chalfont Taxis embodying the very polar opposite.



If you value the safe passage of wives, sisters, daughters etc you will not use this taxi service, if this mockery can even be referred to as that.



Last week my little sister was sexually harassed by the taxi driver dropping her home. He made numerous unwanted sexual comments and at the end of the journey refused to let her out of the cab - asking her for a kiss and her number. Naturally - he has denied this.



The company appear to have this foul, Harvey Weinstein-Esque misogyny ingrained in their culture as, when I called up to speak to their manager for the third time to ensure that no one else fell victim to the drivers sexual predation, the employee who answered the phone - sensing my annoyed tone - blurted out that sexual harassment wasn’t even illegal... either he is highly trained in the dark arts of the legal underworld... or perhaps something more sinister is afoot.



If you have had a similar experience then please contact me. You’ll only have to ask in the village to find me. I am very much, unlike the cowards who have terrified my sister, available to discuss this and my name is clearly on this post - I’ll go one step further, most know me as Pip if you so wish to find me on social media. I would advise you all - men, women, children etc who read this post to heed my warning. Even if you are reading this as an independent bystander - I, and many others, will not tolerate this disgusting behaviour in the community and I would ask you to inform your nearest and dearest wherever possible.
