Having practised remedial massage for over 15 years I have become very interested in helping people suffering from pain and tightness due to operations, such as post cancer breast surgery. Alongside my clinic I volunteer at The Pickering Breast Cancer Clinic in Tunbridge Wells.

ScarWork has been developed to improve the condition and integration of scar tissue. It is new to the UK and I am one of only 100 therapists in the UK able to offer this specialised scar treatment.

ScarWork was developed in America by Sharon Wheeler and uses no oils or machines and feels like a dry massage. It is totally pain-free.

As skin heals after an operation, the different layers under the skin get stuck together as the body works to close and heal the wound. ScarWork helps gently release these stuck layers to allow better function and movement in the scar tissue and surrounding fascial tissue, muscles and ligaments.
