We had a lovely afternoon tea at Charlotte's tea house , thank you very much x

User

We found this little gem as we wandered around Truro. We didn't have to wait long for a table where we were seated by Victorian dressed ladies. We had tea and cake which was delightful and not overly priced which I expected.

User

Very nice interior, kind service and nice tea. Highly recommend to visit, it was very nice experience.

User

The gluten free cakes are the best in town! Highly recommended, amazing service and beautiful decor.

User

Stopped in for a late lunch today and had the most delicious eggs benedict. The staff are friendly, the food is great, the coffee is hot (too many places serve it ‘only just’ these days), what more could you ask for?

User

In a beautiful building. Lovely staff. Delicious food. If i lived here I would call in every week.

User

If you ever visit Truro you have to go and get your cream tea at this place.

It was lovely and the staff are friendly.

User

I love coming to Charlotte's Teahouse

The service is ALWAYS fantastic. One of the only places I know where people are happy to queue for a table on busy days and the staff are so accommodating We will definitely be back again

User

How did I not know that this special place existed! I took my mother, sister and daughter for a cream tea and can highly recommend this exquisite venue for both the food and service. If you want to sample superb home made cakes in a unique setting this is the place for you.

User

Absolutely fabulous Victorian themed tearoom, waitresses dressed in black with white pinnies, glorious high tea with well filled sandwiches, delicious scones with jam & cream and a thirst quenching pot of tea, value for money, a totally delightful experience which topped off our visit to Truro

User

A throughly charming and delightful little find- complete with Nippy uniform- excellent fare and all served with flair- a must for those who like the old days style of traditional tea rooms

User

A lovely break in shopping with our children. A very relaxed service in a unique setting. Very friendly staff, great cakes etc and really good coffee. Thank you very much, we will be back!!

User

A gorgeous and exquisitely decorated set of tea rooms! We loved it here! The staff all wear period dress too, so it's almost like going back in time. Our pot of Tregothnan tea and lemon meringue pies were absolutely spot on, and the two ladies who showed us to our table and served us were very polite. To top it off, Charlotte's also have a "book room" with a range of second hand books for sale at a snip... Perfect for bibliophiles like us! A lovely little gem in the heart of Truro! We will definitely return on our next visit to Cornwall.

User

A delight to find , popped in here to meet my daughter for early lunch on St Pirans day , the surroundings are beautiful and the staff very attentive and helpful nothing was too much trouble and very patient .

The high tea was lovely with dainty cakes and yummy sandwiches , then the loose leaf tea this was very flavoursome as the rooms got busy the staff were not flustered or rushed .

The idea of a loyalty card was a great idea to intice you back ..but I would be back any way ! Thank you

User

We had a great time visiting from New Zealand! Great service with the ladies dressed in traditional uniforms too! Just a pity when we were there that 2 customers hogged the window seat, even after they'd long finished their tea... Overall, a great place with great food and service

User

Like stepping back in time, We loved the Victorian maid costumes of the staff who were very friendly, lovely drinks at good prices. Delicious homemade cakes, a little on the expensive side at around £5, however if you are going for a one time treat or for your birthday lunch it's great. Maybe not somewhere you could afford every time you went out for lunch.
