Went there yesterday with my son, nice and easy to find,I drove from Portsmouth and parked a few streets away, plenty of stewards on hand to show us the way and all were very friendly

User

We travelled from Hull. The locals were very welcoming.

Local Police were very helpful.

Well organised , but was glad to get back home , away from the congested city.

It was a Sunday and going in took a long time.

The people working there made it worth the journey.

User

We go to all the home games and some away one's as we'll. Love it when the team does we'll

Not always the result we want but hopefully next season .

Love the staff at Charlton always friendly and the other Charlton fan's. Charlton is a family club and we bring our grandchildren to some of the games they are partially sighted but always have a great time and the staff always helpful with them so roll on next season come on you

Recieved tickets via sky VIP , I being a hammer and my son man utd , are always looking to visit as many grounds as possible. My wife's much loved grandfather was a local and a massive addick visiting the valley in the late 50s and 60s so it was also a very poignant visit which we enjoyed thoroughly very welcoming great atmosphere family orientated. Looking forward to returning with my daughter next in October.

My club since childhood. Great to see them win last home game of the season. Hope next year they do better. Ground is good. Hot chocolate bland and as with all clubs overpriced. The end was funny. The so called home fans running onto the pitch as a "protest". They stewards and police handled it well. By the way balloons just made a mess of the pitch.

User

It's was my son and my first visit to the stadium yesterday, really well organised event from the time we stepped of the train with the smiling staff with the giant hands leading the way to the really friendly gentlemen who seemed to be in charge of the South Gate entrance 4 , only negative was that me being nearly 5ft8 with very long legs I was really uncomfortable in the seats as my legs were far to long and felt like I needed to piggy back the person in front of me 😂

User

Had a great day at the valley the staff were great and very well coming and the vista's lounge was superb for a beer and and some lovely food.

User

Been to the stadium for a game so half expected it to be good, but I must say it was better. Big Screen up and running all through the warm ups and game which was great. Kids got to see everything which was good also. Stadium staff were helpful and where there was a problem with the turnstiles they would shout out and say use another so you weren't queuing or if you were it was for the smallest amount of time. Well organised and well run would def be back shame we had the pitch invasion as I'm sure everyone will be but I suppose you guys will work on this for next year. Fully appreciate nowadays security and safety for all on the pitch is everyone's primary concern, we were lucky to see the stars in the warm up so weren't to fuss about the lap for the winners but for those who missed the warmup I can see their frustration. Sure you will handle this for next years YouTubers v SDMN

A great day out with polite friendly staff..clean and we'll kept too...my only niggle is that I think all tills should have a chip and pin machine or put more experienced efficient staff on the tills with them but overall it was good day and well organised. Well done to all involved !

User

We always have a good day at the Valley winor lose, staff always friendly and helpful. My only moan would be the refreshment prices £2.50 for a £1 bottle of coke or Lemonade is a bit extreme..........

User

Super ground, although the away end seats in the Jimmy Seed stand are a bit tight.

Thought the police presence yesterday was totally OTT; must have cost a fortune. Never seen so many mounted police in one place! Unnecessary in my view.

User

Showing highlights of the "goal" on the big screen probably the only reason it didnt get 5. Great food. Stewards weren't making us sit down at all which is the first time I've had that at an all seater stadium. Good parking facilities around the ground and easy access to the station.

User

Charlton have made real strides on improving the ground and really good prices for families. Only drawback is legroom in seats. Stewards really friendly and has the feel of a family club.

User

'Classic' style stadium. Atmosphere always better than the food! £7 for coke and 3 asda chicken fillets in bread roll described as a chicken burger. No salad or relish or cheese! Typical football food unfortunately.

User

We were there yesterday pre-season please next time have someone selling programmes at the away end a lot of people got into the ground and then to be told the only place there was programmes was at the club shop think Charlton please

User

Took my 2 sons yesterday, they loved the football from all stars v youtubers. Just a shame that they felt the need to do a pitch invasion which ruined our day as they than didn't do the presentation or the lap of honour.

User

Stewards were friendly enough and let us sit where we wanted. The seats had no legroom and as I have arthritis I was very uncomfortable. Queuing for food was awful but it wasn't helped with our fans pushing in. The price of the food was high but then it could be similar to the price at our own ground.

User

Overall staff were lovely, ground needs some improvement, but a lovely day. I was utterly disgusted however at the prices of food and drinks etc. £7 for a hot dog and drink, £1.50 for a bag a crisps, £2.50 for a small bottle of water! Just robbing families! Food wasn't great either. 😪

User

A nice stadium easy to find from the station but the YouTube event was poorly organised. Why start a football match aimed at youngsters at half five on a school night where's there's limited public transport on a Sunday, massive massive lines to get a cold drink, huge queue to get to the merchandise tent, long long lines to get home. We ended up walking over 2 miles to the O2 to get home. 5 hour round trip traveling from Surrey. Never again!
