Ask an osteopath...
"I'd like to book in but I want to claim the cost back through my health insurance. Does my GP have to refer me in the first instance?"
Thank you for your message, the good news is that no, they don't, you can just book in to see one of our registered osteopaths and, as long as osteopathy is covered by your insurance (you'll find that most insurers include it) you can claim it back.
... Just ask for a full receipt when you settle up and our friendly receptionists will be happy to help.

Ask an Osteopath...
"I'm coming in for an appointment on my groin injury. Will I have to wear my boxers or can I wear shorts?"
Thanks for your message, of course you can wear shorts. We usually suggest that nonrestrictive shorts are best - think P.E. shorts rather than boardwalk shorts.
... We also have suitable shorts in a variety of sizes that you can borrow (free of charge) for your appointment with us.

Two top tips to stay chipper...
Eating unrefined carbohydrates, nuts and bananas will boost the formation of serotonin, a feel-good hormone.
Low blood sugars can leave you feeling frazzled so eat small, regular (and ideally healthy!) meals and keep fruit and veggies handy.

"My knee clicks all the time - is this a problem?"
Generally, if there is no pain, then clicking is not too much of a problem.
Annoying though it may be, clicking in the knees is very common and can either be due to the joints releasing as they are moved or due to the sound of tendons flicking over the bony surfaces making a clicking sound.
... If in any doubt - contact your osteopath to investigate.

Wow seen Claire and now Jenna they r both great osteopaths. I have a long term back problem so I will b a regular visitor. Expect soreness afterwards but worth it x

User

When ever I have neck or back pain (which is quite regular), instead of suffering for weeks on end, I book straight in to the clinic. I see Lee who always releases any stiffness and tension, giving me my mobility back. I would highly recommend this clinic, have always helped me out and I've never had to wait too long for an appointment. Staff are always friendly and polite and have great expertise! Thank you.

User

Went to see Lee because of lower back and pelvis pain that was steadily getting worse and reducing my mobility and quality of life. I have always tried to keep fit, but the pain was preventing me from any form of exercise including basic everyday activities. After a free 15 min consultation Lee quickly diagnosed a problem with my hip, causing pain in my back and pelvis. I booked in for my first session which included acupuncture and was amazed how much better I felt after one thirty minute session. Lee recommended a follow up session a week later. Two sessions with Lee and I am almost back to normal, but I have decided to attend the Pilates sessions run by the clinic. A big thank you to Lee, a genuine chap that can work miracles; also a big thumbs up to all the admin staff who have been helpful, professional and friendly. A great team!

User

Visited here today thank you so much for sorting my back problems out Dr Hattersley I feel so much better highly recommend ! I will be back x

User

This place is a little treasure on our doorstep. I look forward to the next time as I know Lee will be able to solve any back issues I may have.

User

The service here is absolutely brilliant. A very comfortable atmosphere. Lee Harvey is amazing. He actually cares about his patients. I don`t believe in miracles, but he works miracles.

User

Thanks Lee, you sorted out the pain I had in my neck, upper back, going over my shoulder and arm!! I can sleep again now :) Cannot say thanks enough!

User

So I was told I needed an op to fix a slipped disc, this petrified me so I decided to call on Lee and ask if he could fix me without having to have the op to which he said yes of course this is possible. I started treatment in October and by the end of November I was already standing straight and pain in my ankle/leg/back was minimal! I still see Lee and this is something that I will always do to keep on top of any future problems, I can not fault Lee or his staff they have been nothing but friendly, helpful and professional. I suffer with health anxiety and an op is something I really did not want, Lee has changed my life around for the better and I am truley greatful! Thank u

User

Lee at Chatteris Osteopaths has been a great help in fixing my shoulder. I was in a lot of pain and after a few appointments with Lee I’m much better. I would highly recommend.

User

I went to see Lee with a knee niggle/injury caused through running.

Lee is really professional & with his knowledge I was able to build back up to where I left off.

With acupuncture, taping up & various stretching & strength exercises i was soon running on the road again !

I highly recommend Lee & the rest of the team .

User

I went to see Lee in the late stages of pregnancy as I had severe Pelvic Girdle Pain and physiotherapy was having limited effect. I was in extreme pain prior to the appointment and relying on strong medication to sleep. By 48 hours post treatment I was off medication and very much reduced pain. Highly recommended and will certainly use in future.

User

I was seen swiftly and was suffering from acute lower back pain which has been greatly relieved after only two comprehensive sessions under Lee's professional care, thank you :-)

User

I strongly recommend Lee and his colleagues at Chatteris Osteopaths. I have had cause to use them over the course of the last few years for a variety of back and foot pain, strains and stiffness. The demands of everyday modern life, computer posture, driving, wrong exercise, and of course the ageing process take their toll. From my experience GPs tend to provide pain killers or refer you to physiotherapists. The former treat the symptoms but rarely the cause and physiotherapy hasn’t worked for me in the past.

The combination of osteopathic and other complementary therapies have always ‘done the trick’ for me. For those who have benefitted from treatment you will probably agree with me but for those who have yet to try this method give it a go. It’s so much better than putting up with niggling pains and discomfort.

User

I have had acupuncture and osteopathy from Lee over several weeks now. We both know this isn't a fast fix, but each treatment makes my knees a little easier to live with. Thanks a million Lee.

User

I had a couple of sessions with Lee for my knee. I must admit I doubted he'd be able to help but he did! And my knee is now so much better I'll be able to get back to football. I feared months of doctors and hospital appointments whilst waiting for what may have been surgery but thanks to Lee I've avoided all that hassle. I would certainly recommend giving Chatteris Osteopaths a chance to help with any problems you're having.

User

I had a badly trapped nerve that was causing me real pain in my neck, shoulder and down my arm. I went to see Lee Harvey for treatment. He massaged me (which I won't lie, hurt, but I knew it was for the greater good) and clicked my neck, back and arm. The next couple of days I was achey from the treatment, but as soon as that faded I was 100% fixed.

I've just been back for a massage before I go on holiday (As I felt a little achey from a day of bad posture at my desk) and have once again left feeling great. I can't recommend Lee Harvey and the clinic enough.

User

Chatteris Osteopaths offer such a friendly and professional service that I can't believe I put up with the pains and strains in my shoulder as long as I did before paying them a visit. I'm sure that nobody wants to need an osteopath however I highly recommend Lee and his team if you do.

User

After putting up with sciatica for around 5 years and only being told by doctors to take ibuprofen and paracetamol I decided to try an osteopath.

Really pleased with the results. Staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

Lee's treatment felt brutal, but it has done me wonders. I've recommended them to two friends and my brother already.

Excellent. Thank You.

User

After months of back pain I went to see lee, I was walking like an old man, after 3 sessions I'm like a new man without pain, I would highly recommend anyone suffering with this condition to visit Lee, thank you so very much.
