We went to cheeky monkeys for the first time yesterday and it was brilliant! Don't know who enjoyed it more the little one or us adults!!! It was really good value for money , cafe prices very good , staff lovely , toilets spotless , the whole place was lovely and clean , we will be back for sure!! Well done to all the staff there it's a credit to you all .

Thank you to Kirsteen for rescuing me from the kids whilst I was dealing with a dilemma at my shop next door. Kirsteen kindly took the kids in for a play, drink and sweetie for an hour!!!! To let me sort out my emergency at my shop.

Just held my daughter's party here and since I've never done this before they kept me right on track, staff are so helpful and friendly would highly recommend

Just back from my 8 year old sons laser tag party. Was fantastic everyone young and old loved it. Well organised and run by staff. Special thanks to Kirsten who from our first call to book to the very end helped/advised and took care of it all. For a stress free party � this is the one �

Had my son's laser tag 8th birthday party yesterday. Was amazing, all the kids and adults loved it. Very well organised by staff. Will definitely book again �

Had a party for 30+ children today. The staff there couldn't of been more helpful with everything, through watching the kids and helping when the food was being given out. So friendly and made sure we had everything we needed (and added some bits we forgot) thanks

Excellent for the kid, get the meal deal value for your money. No place in Montrose you will get hotdog or sandwich-bag of crips- ice cream and juice for £1.00 so well done checky monkeys and the staff.

Attended yesterday(travelled from Inverness) with my two kids, aged 5 and 6 and they both loved it and can't wait to return. Certainly one of the better play areas we have visited keep up the good work.

3 x kids between 3 - 7. Had a great time. Stayed for lunch, food was tasty & hot. Staff friendly, tidied up quickly after we finished, came straight over after a juice split. Place was tidy, toilets clean.

Kids enjoyed playing but the food wasn't that good the burgers were hard and they got the order wrong three times

Cheeky Monkeys has potential to be a great place. But at the moment it is not, i personally think it needs shut down for a refurb and deep clean........a very deep clean! It's verging on disgusting!



A large percentage of the toys do not work and are a bit on the dirty side.



The whole place in general is also too dark, needs a lot more lighting especially on the upper levels. Another issue I have with Cheeky Monkeys is that the music seems Ill- suited. Should be more child friendly.



For the price for an hours play at roughly £4-£4.50 I don't believe it's value for money. I am local to Montrose but I would rather travel to Brechin/Laurencekirk or Arbroath for a more enjoyable experience.

Way too over priced for a 1 year old. The only bit wee ones have to play in is tiny, not even a proper slide either. Should be reduced price for toddlers.

Very disappointing first visit for my sons 1st birthday as we didn't even make it in the door we phoned prior to going to be told you can't book in advance which I understand so we arrived to be told we would have to wait 45mins for the next people due to leave which is fair enough its first come first serve we were told to come back as it was full so we did to be told when we come back that it would be another 30 mins because others had just been let in before us where we were told that wasn't how it worked the first time we arrived or we could have just waited for someone to leave there is obviously a system in place but it would be great if it actually worked and there was some continuity as it's just going to lose you more customers if they get treated the way we have today...

Recently moved to aberdeenshire and twice now I have turned up with my 2 year old after a bus journey and walk to the venue only to find it closed with no explanation and no mention online, a delivery driver and other parents were stood around not amused also. When you have to explain to a 2yr old you travelled for nothing it doesn't go down well! I won't be back (not that I know what I'm missing anyway having never been in it yet) �

Just visited with my daughter and left as there were no members of staff on the front desk and one member of staff floating round the play area. I tried to get her attention but she disappeared. It wasn’t busy but there were children running around, no sign up for private party and no one there to say whether you could come in or not. I stood for 10 minutes waiting and ended up having to leave with an upset 2 year old. Place is a joke

First time attending Cheeky Monkeys at the beginning of January and we didn't have a great experience at all. The place is in need of a complete refurb and the toys/ soft furnishings are extremely tatty. The staff weren't very friendly, they were merely there to do what they had to do and that was it. There was older children running riot in the younger kids soft play area too which meant our 1 year old daughter was knocked over numerous times. We won't be back and we won't be recommending to others either, which is a real shame.

Awful when you take your little brother through to montrose knowing that he’s excited for cheeky monkeys to then discover it is closed, no notice on the door and nothing on the Facebook page!
