only ever had Sunday lunch there but it is superb always served hot (so many places serve Luke warm food). Staff are eager to please and very helpful. Most importantly you can take your four legged friend with you as it is very dog friendly

Maria was lovely and talked us into a delicious desert ! I had the lemon drizzle bake well , it was fab and I got to use my gourmet card for a great discount!!

Just want to say thank you for making Mother's Day really special for my family. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed and despite it being a busy day for you all I'm sure your staff were really friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and wine was good aswell �will deffo visit again thank you �

I love this pub! The ombience, the service, the food and the wine (of course)! All of it is to a higher quality than you'd expect considering the affordable price. Last night was many of my trips, however I must shout about our waitress.. the wonderful Emma! From the minute we walked in, Emma was a blessing! Her advice on food and wines, the elegance and expertise service, and her general personable and warm personality made this trip my favourite of all time! She deserves so much more than 5 stars, and by the end of the meal I felt uplifted.. and i'd not even sat down in a bad mood. What a pub, what a steak, what a woman!!!

Great staff very accommodating nice venue good food � served efficiently and pretty quick reasonable priced fizz and offers accommodated nicely. Very homely WiFi sockets. And also dogs are allowed. Car park was okay for a Friday night. Timed it well wasn’t rammed. But will probably be now after this raving review well there’s all of mere green to go at now so hopefully people will share the business around loved it. Will definitely go back again as soon as Have means Ten out of ten even left a tip

Been a few times and they always treat us like we were the only ones there. This time it was Amy's time. Competing with Jess and Maria. Amy was brilliant, she took all the banter and an answer for everything. Service brilliant, staff Brilliant and you guessed it the food was excellent.

Can't wait to go back. It's a 5 Star from us...

5 mums and 5 babies.... normally we get frowned upon as can cause lots of noise and can be a bit hectic. The four oaks pub were welcoming, had thought about the push chairs. Amazing!

Maria our lovely waitress, worked her socks off. Very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she clearly loves her job. Thank you Maria, you mad our day. See you soon.

We had a lovely meal yesterday despite it being busy the staff were polite and welcoming- we were approached by 3 different staff within a few minutes (to check if someone was assisting us) as we were waiting for our table.

Great pub and walking distance too!

Visited for a birthday meal and found the food and service very good. Waitress really helpful and very bubbly and attentive. Good choice of menu, something to suit pretty much everyone, even gooseberry crumble which was lovely although not everyone's cup of tea!! Would definitely eat there again.

Went for Xmas day lunch. This was a 5th Xmas visit. Food was good the only issue was the time it took to serve. We were booked in for 3pm but didn’t sit down til 1/4 to 4. We didn’t leave till 6;30. We waited over an hour between courses except sweet after we complained. In actual fact our grandson who is four missed the seeet as he had fallen asleep. I understand delays on Xmas day but this was really not exeptable.

Went their yesterday for my daughters 18th birthday family meal. The meal was nice only problem was it was cold in the restaurant part and we had elderly family members with us which were cold because of the room temperature our food cold quickly .the staff were very pleasant �

We went yesterday 13 of us and were seated nearly in the garden, I think it might have been warmer in the garden, the room was cold and hardly any heat was radiating off the radiotor, Every one of us were cold, pub / restaurant was busy, we were seated at 1pm and waited 1 & 1/2 hours for our food to arrive! Service was bad and they were obviously short on staff, we returned to this pub after a great meal in the bar area the year before, but think next year we will be going elsewhere, such a shame!!!

More attentive staff needed and radiators fixed !

Sunday lunch was a waste of time. Everything was microwaved. Filet steak was average.

Service was shocking.

Maria, our waitress was wonderful. The food was delicious. However, the toilets here are disgusting and this pub should be shut down until sorted. The urinals in the men’s urinals do not drain properly, meaning anyone that walks in there is walking in urine and taking into the restaurant. I’ll be reporting to environmental health and fsa first thing Tuesday.

I often book this restaurant for family meals, I went on Sunday evening and out of the 6 of us that went only one person enjoyed their meal, my partner and his son had the roast turkey dinner and it was cold with raw veg, shame as the place has seem to have gone down hill since last year, don't think I will be booking again there for family outings.

First and last time here . Visited on a Wednesday early evening.Very understaffed and very inexperienced. Food was very poor . Had gourmet Burger and the bacon was raw . Fries were over cooked. Partners food was served cold. Waited at the bar for over 10mins to be served . Lad serving was struggling to operate the till . Ordered the same drinks twice but two different amounts . Very poor for a pub in a great location.

4 of us had a very nice meal (all of us) on Sunday. Considering the food is quite expensive there unfortunately when my partner and I returned on Monday we were very disappointed considering they looked a lot quieter. My fish was very dried up and the meal not very hot. My partner's steak was undercooked even though I asked for there to be no blood. Chips were not very nice either. The waitress was very good though. I don't think we will be going back again.

Oh wow what a disaster pre booked for Sunday lunch. Waitress was coming back to take order in a minute 25 mins later had to ask someone else to take it as she was too busy chatting to the other table . To be told no beef left asked if we could have steak with the veg instead to be given grey steak that was to rubbery to eat . Was given a free drink for our inconvenience. For my father in law to be charged at the bar for it after . There were more dogs than humans in the bar area. I really don't understand why people have the need to take there dogs out for Sunday lunch . After eating there for the past few years we will not return as the attitude was we don't really care
