Chelmsford Central Family Hub is a warm and friendly environment that is open 50 Hours a week. We welcome children, young people and their families and provide access to support and services to help children and families achieve the best start in life.

Welcome to Chelmsford Child and Family Well-being Hub.


The Chelmsford Central Child and Family Well-being Hub is part of the new Essex Child and Family Well-being Service which Barnardo's are providing for Essex County Council in partnership with Virgin Care. We are working with our partners to transform the way your family receives care and support.


The Hub serves the Chelmsford district along with local delivery sites: Chelmsford West and Chetwood (South Woodham Ferrers).


We offer a warm welcome to all families with a range of information and support available. Please feel free to contact us or come along and meet staff leading the groups and activities.


Over the coming years, we’ll be working to deliver the Council’s and NHS Clinical Commissioning Group’s vision of a seamless service with children and families at its heart.
