I've spent a lot of my life here and am very thankful to my surgeon mr Haddad

The Children’s A&E is fantastic, didn’t have to wait too long to see the doctor as when we went it was relatively quiet. In & out in a hour, X-ray and treatment included! Doctors & triage very cheerful, patient and friendly.

Thank you so much for the excellent care shown to me on Friday 23rd February. I was so traumatised, but you made everything okay (broken wrist) following a fall on my way home to Salisbury. I can't thank you enough!

Possibly the finest hospital in the country. Unrivalled facilities and superb care, I have had reason to thank this wonderful hospital twice in my life and can only be thankful that by good fortune i have lived within reach of the two fine hospitals in the Trust. Without doubt they saved my life.

Outstanding service, had a complicated pregnancy and birth but was handled very well and the midwifes, nurses made me also very impressed. Thank you, I just wish all NHS hospitals would have the same standard...

I'm not really a review person but I feel I have to say something about the treatment we received at this hospital. Our daughter came in with viral wheeze and bronchiolitis a couple times and I'm so impressed with how paediatrics department runs. Doctors are great and very experienced, but nurses ! Wow.

Staff at Mercury and Apollo wards were nothing short of amazing. Extremely helpful and good at their jobs. They work such long shifts and yet they were always smiling and going that extra mile. I really must commend their attitude and creating a positive environment.

I would never go anywhere else with my children.

Great hospital

I'm extremely grateful to Dr.Glynn Tolwerton and the rest of the Chronic Spinal Pain team at Chelsea & Westminster for the treatment they provided me with over the years.

I normally do not write reviews on facebook, but this time I really want to thank doctors, nurses all other staff we came in contact with @ Chelsea and Westminster A&E. They were amazing in treating my husband and finding a cause of excruciating pain that he was suffering for few days. Thank you so much, shame we have not had chance to thank you in person!

Finally home from the toughest week of my life! As today is #internationalthankyouday2018 I must take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and thanks to all the staff @chelwestft #chelseaandwestminsterhospital for taking care of my youngest son, Joshua, before, during and after his operation for perforated appendicitis. From the amazing surgeons, nurses & doctors in the high dependency unit & Neptune ward to the fabulous playworkers, teachers, cinema staff, cooks, cleaning staff, and even the lovely girl on reception who helped me sort out my parking...I cannot thank you all enough! You made a horrendous time bearable, and not only looked after Joshua and helped him smile again, but also offered me support when I was struggling or feeling low. I am SO proud & grateful of our NHS and so blessed to be able to call #chelseaandwestminsterhospital our local hospital! #chelseaandwestminsterhospital #feelingblessed #internationalthankyouday2018 #happytobehome #happytoseemybabysmileandwalkagain #besthospitalintheworld

Excellent hospital with the most attentive and wonderful nurses who genuinely do care about you with a warm smile on their faces. A huge thank you to the Consultant who operated on me today - he is such a genuinely warm person too. What a surprisingly wonderful experience which I did not expect upon arrival. Keep up the great work.

Can’t thank the staff at Chelsea and Westminster enough. My daughter had an op there this week and the surgeon, doctors and nurses all gave my daughter the best possible care you could ask for. A special thank you to Tina and Rebecca on the Jupiter ward and Lisa Greaney the surgeon. Thank you all!!

Two visits to A&E over 3 days and they figured out what was wrong, I was admitted and put in the queue for theatre as soon as my condition had been stabilised. They took good care of me despite being short staffed. Everything went well despite one or two false starts for the op due to incoming emergency work. If this is the NHS in crisis, then it’s amazing. I’m now home and recovering thanks to this great institution and the people who work there. The day to day staff are fantastic, the people that run the place in the offices (management) need to get a grip of reality from the private sector as to what efficiency looks like, listen to your clinical staff, solicit their ideas for improving process and then do it, you might lose your jobs because of effective change, but at the end of the day that’s what you are there to mentor.

why is this happening? this is a post of my friend Afra Moonbell !!!!

My 14yr old nephew had a sports accident at school and soon after began to feel unwell and feel pain in his neck and a loss of feeling in his right leg and arm. He was taken to A & E who sent him off with an appointment for physiotherapy even though they had not identified what was causing the pain and paralysis. When he was taken to physiotherapy, they quite rightly said that they couldn't do anything until his condition had been properly assessed.

On Friday he woke up with no feeling at all in his right leg and some paralysis in his left leg and weakness in his arms and he could not walk. An ambulance was called but his condition was not deemed urgent enough. After much stress and lack of support, he was eventually admitted into hospital. Because his symptoms could indicate all sorts of serious things, including damage to his spine or brain, it is agreed by all that he needs an urgent MRI scan to determine what exactly is happening to him and to prevent any further potential and irreversible damage.

BUT, apparently Chelsea & Westminster do not have an MRI operative working at weekends. And they can't transfer him to a hospital that does have one because they belong to different trusts. We were also told that even if there was one that was available, the consultant would still need to put a 'case' forward to justify the use of an MRI.

It is now Monday and he still hasn't had an MRI scan and his condition has worsened. I am beyond distressed about what has happened, what is happening to him and about the lack of care and treatment that he is getting. It is truly terrifying to learn that we can no longer rely on our precious NHS to care for our children (or anybody else) and I am so fucking angry and powerless in this situation. Don't know what to do???

Trust not serious. Employers killed to work as machines under staff, with no support and with no social life at all. Salaries always incorrect and with mistakes. No meals provided, few discount not useful, delayed and problems in every training booked and visits. Never again

Our son went to A&E this week with suspected appendicitis and was in a medical ward less than 3 hours later. And operated on the next day. Outstanding service and treatment from beginning to end.
