Visit the Brixton Beneficiary at A.s.c Art Studios (opposite Brixton Academy) this Friday for the opening of a show with Chelsea BA Fine Art alumni.
It's always great to see alumni continuing to collaborate and show together, after building strong positively creative friendships during their time working together in Chelsea's studio environment.
We're sure this will be a show not to miss!

THE SMILE was awesome! Loved the architecture and being inside!

Don't take it down!!!

Really enjoyed my course. We had two tutors from different disciplines which gave more than one perspective to the work we were doing and there was a very good workshop space to try out different techniques.

User

I loved my time on MA Curating & Collections at Chelsea College of Arts. The staff were great and I loved the course. The facilities are really good too, especially the library! Would definitely recommend.

I graduated in 2010 and I have to say I love this place for many reasons. I had so much help and intellectual stimulation. Great teachers, staff and just a great feel about the place. So glad I went to Uni there.

User

I attended the Tate 'Unconference' at Chelsea and really enjoyed the informal nature of the event. The impact of digital media on the arts has been and will be immeasurable and it was fascinating to discuss this in this environment. I look forward to attending other events at Chelsea in the future. A special note to the staff who were accommodating and enthusiastic.

Great place, staff and tutors are helpful and insightful. Wonderful atmosphere and the building is just beautiful! I still try come down and see the current students work as much as I can throughout the year - and it's always so exciting and individual. I especially love textiles work - the facilities they have for these students are great and the work they produce is so highly skilled. I definitely recommend coming to check out the shows.

ChelseaUAL is not just a great college. ChelseaUAL has a matrix that left the academic bubble behind, acts as a serious Millbank neighbourhood stakeholder. In #TheHeartOfLondon, it created and nourishes a conduit for a sustainable society utilising creativity at every level as a key tool to explore issues and solutions beyond conventions. It provides young people and local residents with a unique opportunity to explore dreams, ideas and pursue visions that do make a difference.

Chelsea College of Arts is a creative oasis. Somewhere that people can open their mind completely and without judgement but rather encouragement from those around them. Playful, educational and formative. Come and experience it for yourself, whether it's an exhibition or a course :)

User

Best in Textile design courses. Every year the show is better than the previous year. #DCSfashionstudio

Popped in on the off chance and it was truely worthwhile. The exhibits were of a a very good standard a nd I enjoyed talking to a few of the artists

I had an amazing time at Chelsea in the late 90's. A great melting pot of ideas and people. The lectures and seminars were always challenging. I still remember the best from Chris Yetton even 20 years on. I found, lost and found myself again studying fine art.

Some majority of fine art tutors were critical yet positive a minority were less generous spirited and tough. The college did feel a bit elitist with its intake even if in practice it encouraged inclusion, I hope that's changed.

I went their for my interview for Interior Design, and was asked why I wore a headscarf, if i took it off or not, and why I did so. I felt disgusted that my interview had more questions about my religion, origin and background than my portfolio and my art. I felt unwelcomed with the way I was interviewed and would certainly not feel happy studying in such an environment. Even if I get a place (which I highly doubt with the questions I got) I would not accept it. I do believe however that this might just have come from the person who interviewed me and not from the university, because I have heard many good things about it. My first impression wasnt as good, but I shall not risk studying there.
