MATCH FACTS | Tottenham - Chelsea
Head-to-head
Tottenham have won only four of their 49 league matches against Chelsea (D19, L26), with all four of those victories coming at White Hart Lane.... Chelsea have won only one of their last 10 Premier League matches at White Hart Lane (D5, L4) - the 4-2 victory on 20 October 2012. The Blues could do the league double against Spurs for the first time since 2005-06.
Tottenham
Tottenham could remain unbeaten in their opening 10 home matches of a Premier League season for the second time. The other occasion was in 2000-01 (when they won 13). They have won four league games in a row, scoring 13 goals in the process and conceding just three. Harry Kane has scored 17 goals in his last 17 Premier League London derbies, including 10 in his last nine played at White Hart Lane. This will be Mauricio Pochettino's 150th Premier League as a manager/head coach.
Chelsea
A victory for Chelsea would make them the first team to win 14 consecutive top-flight matches within the same season. They would equal Arsenal's English top-flight record of 14 successive wins between February-August 2002 (over two seasons). Only once before in the Premier League has a side won more points than Chelsea's 49 after 19 games - that was also Chelsea in 2005-06 (52). The Blues have won six successive Premier League away games, conceding just one goal. Diego Costa has scored in seven of his nine away league appearances this season, only failing to find the net at Arsenal and Sunderland.

Conte and Cesc create a new record
It's Chelsea's 13 straight wins and a remarkable way to end a year.
Cesc Fabregas became the first non-British player to reach 100 Premier League assists as he set up Willian against Stoke City.
... The Spaniard is also the fastest player to reach the milestone, taking just 293 appearances to reach 100 assists.
Fabregas is only the fourth player to have provided that many final balls for goals, putting him alongside Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard as the players to have achieved the feat.
While it took Fabregas - 293 apps to set the record, Giggs played 367 games to set his record, Rooney played 445 games and Lampard - 559 games.
Stoke City is a very good side because they scored two goals and put up a great fight but could not sustain it. Coata reaches his 14 goals, Willian got a brace and Cahil opener is all that matter after 90 minutes.
If Chelsea defeat Totthenham in the new year encounter then Arsenal record will become the second best in the league. Pedro did not feature at all today which might be a strategy to make him fresh for Spurs challenge.
It's a blue that commands respect in 2016/17

A review of Chelsea impressive sales.
Andre Schurrle to Wolfsburg | £24m, Feb 2015
This is a German national player, he arrived Chelsea from Bayern Leverkusen following a deal of £18m in 2013, Mou considered him a surplus and he was sold. £6m is not a bad business in two years after some impressive play but below manager's expectation.
... Papy Djilobodji to Sunderland | £8m, Aug 2016
The Senegalese found himself signed by the Blues around £2.6m in 2015, he was loaned to Welder Bremen, where he helped the club avoid relegation and attracts interest of Sunderland where Chelsea glad received £8m. That's over 300% return on investment. I wish him goodluck as Chelsea smiled again to the bank. Mou denied ever watched the player before signing which suggests that Papy is not his type of player.
Juan Mata to Man. United | £37m, Jan 2014
He is a Spaniard, a kinda of player who supports the attack, though not full of strength but good enough to give an entertaining 60 minutes. His memory in the days of three wise men still linger (Hazard, Mata and Oscars) He was voted club player of the year twice. He arrived Chelsea from Valencia at £23.5m price tag, Chelsea did not ask for too much but just to offload the star at £37m, again Mou was involved.
David Luiz to PSG | £50m, August 2014
He is an energetic defender, he love to roam in the midfield but now cautioned to oversee the defence and he has been excellent. He arrive Chelsea from Benfica at a deal of £25.5m in January 2011, he was part of our history. PSG came calling, so Chelsea cashed out £50m about 💯 return on investment. It doesn't end here, Chelsea resigned him at £32m just after two years in France and he has turned the magical touch in the reawaken of the Blues defence
Ramires to Jiangsu Suning | £25m, Jan 2016
Another Brazilian, a moment against Barcelona in Champions League is his best in my opinion. He arrived Chelsea in 2010 from Benfica at around £20. He was devoted and was part of Chelsea club history. After six active years, Chelsea sold him to China at £28m, that's a whopping £8m profit. It's nice doing business with the Chinese.
Oscar dos Santos to SIPG | £52m, Dec 2016
Chelsea saw a star in Oscar who was playing for internacional of Brazil, he was signed for £19.35m in 2012. He played for Chelsea for good four years, now he is the second biggest gain at £52m to China Club where he will play along side Tevez, Tevez is currently the highest paid footballer at £650k weekly followed by our own Oscar at £400k

Costa and Kante to miss home clash with Bournemouth
Chelsea FC will host Bournemouth on the boxing day, this is the Blue's chance to make it 12 games unbeaten and continue to make club and English top flight history.
A quick refresh show that Guus Hiddink's first spell as the Blues' interim manager, he has 5 straight winning streaks against Westham, Fulham, Arsenal, Blackburn and Sunderland. Carlo Ancelotti later opened up with six straight wins to establish the club record.
... Antonio Conte has left 5 and 6 to create 11. His current club record is a summation of the previous manager's individual figures. He has defeated the following clubs in the process - Hull, Leicester, Man Utd, Southampton, Everton, Middlesbrough, Tottenham, Man City, West Brom, Sunderland, Crystal Palace.
Manchester United won 11 games in a row between Boxing Day 2008 and March 2009 and kept nine clean sheets in the process. In fact, they conceded just twice in that impressive run, scoring 21.
Liverpool ignited their Premier League title challenge with a 5-1 win over Arsenal in early February 2014 and won their next 10 games through to the end of April, scoring 38 goals in the process as in-form Luis Suarez led the way.
Manchester United dominated the 1999/00 Premier League season and showed off their superiority with an 11-game winning running from March through to the end of the season in May.
With Thierry Henry in full flow, Arsenal won a record 13 Premier League matches in a row at the end of the 2001/02 season, starting and ending against Everton.
If Chelsea defeats Bournemouth without suspended Costa and Kante, then the Blues will have the second best PL record after Arsenal who held 13 games.
Fabregas will likely take position and Batshuayi or Pedro will play up front with a slight twig in the attacking option. Willian and Pedro may feature simultaneously in this game depending on the manager's discretion.
We trust and hope for the best.
Happy Christmas to our fans around the world.

Arsenal's Emirate denied a safe landing at Etihad
Arsenal made no reasonable effort yet got a lead before the first 6th minute. This confirmed the popular saying that results sometimes doesn't reflect efforts.
The lead by Theo Walcott lasted for 45 minutes. A serious minded football analyst will conclude that the away team is playing near the den of a lion with the style of play, little effort created, invincible mode for Ozil and Sanchez.
... By 48th minute, Leroy Sané has levelled up the game with unending attacks by the Pep tactical side. Zabaleta, who seems to be the weakest link in the defence was also substituted and Saga made a better cover.
The pressure continued with creative moves by old soldier (Yaya Toure). He taunted the midfield in a class that deserve Man of The Match award until Sterling produced a winning goal.
Just like Everton loss, Wenger got the first goal but could sustain the tempo and gave up the game to the better side. This loss is a gain to the Blues with a clear margin. It is also two consecutive losses to the promising Arsenal team
Tottenham displayed superiority over Burnley. Eventhough, the away side got an early lead but Dele Ali levelled up before the half time and Danny Rose gave up the goal that gave the home side a victory.
Earlier today Bournemouth lost to Southampton carelessly. It is noteworthy to praise applaud the fourth goal of the match by Rodriguez. A fantastic volley outside the 18 yard box. Bournemouth's Ake got the opening goal but the home side couldn't sustain. The match today devoid of the comeback that we saw against Liverpool.
It's an awesome weekend.
