The perfect way to celebrate. Brilliant fun, superb food, epic service and wines that were all stand out. When you have a team that together can have a laugh, then you know you must surely have the right staff. Here’s to 2019. #chelseavintners #numberone @ Nutbourne Battersea

The ultimate vegetarian feast. Whilst meat and fish do now feature again @alain_passard is still true to his vision. A focus on the freshest, tastiest and mine-bending vegetable delights is the hallmark of this 3 #michelinstar restaurant. It just so happens to be our favourite spot in #paris #chambertin #beze #rayas #ponsot @ Arpège

Bevan Cellars are neighbours of Screaming Eagle. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t famous in the own right! With nine 100 point wines to date and nearly all their current releases over 95, they are making incredible inroads into the Nap Valley hierarchy! The whole team were blown away by the quality and incredibly good value relative to their neighbours. @ Chelsea Vintners

We are still reminiscing on this incredible wine. #moet Grand Vintage #1988 in Magnum. This offered such clarity, precision and intensity. dg2003 it was a spectacular showing in amongst some stellar #champagne company!

Stunning! This classical yet inventive cuisine @domainelescrayeres Le Parc restaurant - thanks to @philippe_mille - formed the backdrop to the first event in the #1988 #champagne #tasting

What an incredible lineup. 3 exceptional meals, dinner @domainelescrayeres (2 * @michelin) thanks to @philippe_mille, followed by a further six * @michelinstars in a day @lallement_arnaud fabled food Mecca #lassiettechampenoise, this was The Definitive 1988 Champagne Tasting. With special thanks to the main man @alavolee and all the staff who pulled off such an incredible two days including Head #Sommeliers @phil_jamesse and @mathieucre.Its hard to do justice to the wines o...n offer. Growers, Grande Marques, Prestige Cuvees. Many in magnum, most direct from the producers themselves. This was a truly remarkable journey. Many plumped for Cristal Rose 1988 as the overall winter, but most importantly the wines of note that wouldn’t normally get a look in included Legras et Haas, RL Legras (arguably the same wine!) as well as Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque Blanc. It’s impossible to mention them all but suffice to say this was an #onceinalifetime dreamlike experience. Heres to the next one - @stophwood

A sneak peak of just two of this weekends lineups. Now for the grand finale. All the available 1988 Prestige Cuvees en Magnum... did we mention @lallement_arnaud is doing the cooking?! #monumental #michelin #madness

Happy Friday from Champagne. A lovey intro to a long weekend! @domainejacquesselosse Millésime 2004 Magnum. Disgorged in 2017 it was clearly fresh, mineral led but with the classic power punch of Selosse. What a vinous treat. #selosse #lesavises #champagne #friday @ Les Avisés

As pretty as a picture. The awesome dishes by the amazing @adambyatt and the team of @trinityclapham

Unique. Humbling. Majestic. The vegetable in all its glory. Turned into #3star cuisine and celebrated alongside the most incredible vinous creations from #burgundy - a night without equal in Paris to celebrate 100 years since the death of the great #debussy @ Restaurant Arpège

A much needed Wednesday night refresher with these two charmers! #Repost @alavolee with ・・・ God London is hot. An evening with Chris from @chelseavintners and @alicelascelles from @financialtimes needed some Champagne to cool us down. Lanson Black Label is always fascinating. Add 20 plus years of bottle age and you have something to really talk about. Still so Lanson. Bracing acidity. Like, really bracing! There is just enough oomph on the palate but I just can't get past th...at acidity! Krug 1985 was a great bottle. Very tight, very sensual. So creamy and well balanced. A very impressive, if a touch restrained, 85. The Dom Perignon 1976 was a bit of a throwaway. Clearly seen some travel and heat. The colour was deep. The nose however was beautifully seductive. Biscuity, buttery, rich. Creamy on the palate, there was, however, a slight disconnect early on with the mid to late. This did lift though and I must confess, although I did write this off a touch on opening, I became seduced every time I returned to it! #champagne #lanson #krug #domperignon #zalto #lehmann #jamesse #financialtimes #howtospendit #vintagechampagne

As discussed the 1967 Chave was extremely memorable. The bottle was taken direct from Jean-Louis’ Family collection and presented by him to an intimate gathering #Repost @stophwood ・・・ A true wine epiphany! @jeanlouischave thank you for your incredible #Hermitage 1967. Room filling aroma and the sort of wine that makes doing what we do make perfect sense! #onceinalifetime #gourmetfest2018 #carmel #california #chelseavintners #foodandwine #relaisandchateau

Three of our favourite Chave vintages. These wines are spectacular and supremely age worthy. Should make for a pretty spectacular tasting!

Torbreck wines. Big, brash, brutes from the outback, right? WRONG! These are fragrant, balanced and utterly superb examples of Rhône varietals from the Barossa. A revelation for the team and thanks to @ian_hongell and @torbreckbarossa for the opportunity! @ Chelsea Vintners
