Give • Every year @Chemistry2 offers its homemakjng services for free to a few good causes. Preferably to people, to individuals who deserve a bit of help. It might be someone who’s faced ill health, someone struggling with an unexpected change in their life (grief or maybe divorce) or someone who’s been so busy with giving themselves to charitable causes they’ve neglected their own home. Every day I walk though my front door I feel that sense of welcome, a relief and my hea...rt lifts just a bit. There’s no pooch to greet me but what there is is colour, small possessions in view that catch my eye, some order and warmth. A lot of warmth. We have just completed a corporate flat for a big charitable donor, someone too busy to create the home they deserve at the end of a long day. Earlier in the year we helped someone coming out of a long illness. There’s room for one more deserving person before 2018 ends. If you know of someone, please put their name forward and see if we can help. We give 3 days of our time (4 if you ask really nicely). All we ask is it’s inside the M25, we don’t want to waste time in the car when there’s work to do.

Please bear with me while I give a huge shout out for @theofficegroup, the amazing co-worker concept for SME’s and sole practitioners we were introduced to this week. With 33 buildings in London and others opening all over the UK, this concept proves there really is somewhere other than the local cafe where home workers can group, interact, meet with clients and get some work done too!
Eccleston Square Victoria is @chemistry2.co.uk ‘home’ building although any of the @theoff...icegroup Lounge facilities are available as part of the membership.
This one, Thomas House, combines some of the company’s latest #cooloffice interiors styling too so that’s such a bonus for us being ‘in the business’.
It’s got all the essential zones - group desk spaces, mobile phone kiosks, break-out seating areas and a cafe that doubles up as a bar 3 x days a week. And even a terrace.
Thanks to @charliegtog membership came through this week so what started out as a gloomy Monday has finished with the sun peeping through.

👏 Hands up who else is a Habitat fan. Just look at their Hendricks sofa shown here in tangerine, ok it may not be your colour of choice but how bold, how ubercomfy, ubersmart and ubercool. In the past week I’ve visited Habitat, Nice and Habitat, Westfields, their latest store opening (if you haven’t been to the fabulous new home section @Westfields with Heals, Westelm and Habitat among others go go go!). I always spot must haves, my French successes were storage and lighting, in London I picked up some gorg baskets and earthenware. Just last month it was dining chairs. 🧡 @habitatuk 🧡
