Chess Club is the first members club from Experimental Group
Chess Club London Description
Chess Club is a six-storey townhouse in Mayfair where both the architecture and the atmosphere give this new private members club the feeling of a beautiful private home.
Interiors by Fran Hickman create a sumptuous world where every surface is considered; velvet, marble, butterflies and hand painted panels surround you. The food by Executive Chef Jackson Boxer, of Brunswick House fame, is both playful and traditional with wine pairings by in-house sommelier Cedric Maillard and cocktails by Experimental Cocktail Club.
The committee is made of representatives from the art world, academia, fashion, film, tech, finance, journalism, medicine, the music industry, business, publishing, television and theatre - resulting in an extraordinary membership of targeted and diverse ‘do-ers’. Aiming to create a new sort of a cultural melting pot in Mayfair, which is achieved through a considered programme of enlightening events. These include a monthly Wine Club and Book Club, a weekly Chess Club and one off extraordinary formats where the most interesting people from all fields are invited to speak about their work and lives in this intimate setting.
