We love ❤️ Chiqnitos, the service is always excellent. This visit was because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and fancied coming here as we love the food. The waitresses made a lovely dessert for us with candles to help us make our special day even more special, thank you ladies that was lovely. Very much recommend. 👍🏼😃

I've had the pleasure of dining here twice, once in the evening and one early afternoon. The evening was fairly busy and the staff couldn't of been more at tentative. There was a rather thin looking guy with a baseball cap on who stank of cigarettes helping him self to espresso, if he was a member of staff then he needs to develop his customer ethics and dress more professional. That aside the meal was excellent and good value for money. My afternoon visit the resturuant was very quite but we were served by the manageress who was very bubbly, friendly but professional at the same time, again the food was excellent as was the service. Personally I prefer a quite place to eat, where children don't run around wild because the parents have no control or care. So from experience yes I would recommend it, but I think chiquito as a company have some discipline issues to deal with in particular the member of staff who stank of cigarettes I would hope he washes his hands throughly before handling food.

The last meal we had was lunch and it was delicious. Shame that on the menu though there was a price to add a slice of halloumi to a burger but when I asked for it she said it was actually £3.99 but the menu hadn’t been changed. Apart from that it was nice.

Not my fav place but my boy (18) likes it and it’s way better than Franki and Bennies!

Food was lovely and served pretty quickly. Nice touch with the hats dotted around for us to wear and take selfies lol. Was a reasonable price (had a voucher) and staff were very attentive. Would visit again x

Service was very slow and poor attention to detail. Food was bland, over priced for what it was and kids portions were tiny.

Have been to this venue before, however I doubt I will return again.

Never in my life have I ever witnessed such utterly poor customer service, poor quality of product & pure ignorance. I shall never be returning to Chiquito’s in Colchester. I know 18 year old’s with 4 weeks in hospitality that could have done a better job. Shameful.. we wondered why it was dead!?
