Went there before the Steely Dan gig. Very busy and hadn't booked. However, we had a drink and only waited 15 minutes. Food good and reasonably priced. Our waitress was outstanding. Wish I'd taken note of her name to give her the credit she deserves. Needless to say she got a big tip. In case you're wondering who we are. The two Scottish guys on the first floor at the top of the stairs about 6pm. 👍

Went in for dinner before concert excellent service from friendly informative staff, food was nicely cooked, didn't wait long and as it got busier more staff appeared to manage the rush will def be going back 😃👍

Went in after seeing micky flanagan last night, staff were friendly and helpful. I had the vegatable fajitas and asked for no cheese or sour cream. The waitress asked if I was vegan (the others with me were not) and engaged in conversation with me as she also was. I think her name was lucy. The food was amazing and so much of it. Cocktails were good and we all enjoyed our meal.

Loved it. Got seated straight away. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Food and drinks yummy! Coming back again. We weren’t rushed and we were even asked(as we had our teenage son) if he had a student discount card? Not many places actually do they! Defo coming back again.

Brilliant service from Bradley the bar staff! He’s the one to make your drinks � ask for him.

We arrived without a reservation, and let lucky with a table, the service was courteous and efficient and the food was good, we would certainly go again.

Popped in for pre gig meal..seated straight away..orderd after being asked and needing more time. drinks a little slow in coming but no big wait.. food came quick enough and was good.. desert shared.. two spoons were asked for and got�..paid for..not cheap but London prices I guess... waiter was attentive and so were other staff although young lad who brought food to table needs to learn a bit about service with a smile.. overall a good meal and drink..nothing special but not bad at all.. 4☆

The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough. The food was a little dry and the toilets needed a bit of TLC...no soap, broken locks, peeling paper. Overall it was an ok experience.

Food very mediocre. Didn't taste freshly cooked. Southern style chicken looked and tasted like it had been precooked, defrosted and heated up, as did the pulled pork. 'Skin on fries' had no skin on. Onion rings had no flavour. Weird runny pink coleslaw. Shame as the venue is great.

Without a doubt the worst, most frustrating restaurant experience I’ve ever had! Waited an hour and a half for our food, the order wasn’t right but at that point I was considering eating my napkin (if I had one that is..) Had to chase 6 times, then another 5 minutes to get cutlery.. people around us all arrived much later and left before we saw our food. It wasn’t just us either, people all around us were having to go downstairs to get their own drinks, cutlery and chase orders. Shocking experience that made is miss half of our show we paid a lot of money for, but regardless ruined our date night, which we only get to do extremely rarely. I like Chiquitos but I won’t go near this one ever again. Or any others for a long time I think.

When we arrived we was told it was a 20mins wait for a table when a good 80% of the tables were empty. So couldn't see what we was waiting for.

Eventually we was shown to a table.

Our order was taken we then waited ages for a drink to arrive. Across the restaurant I could see the waiter having what looked like an argument with the bar staff who had a mountain of empties on the bar. Eventually we got our drinks. Couldn't see why 2 Pepsi Max took so long to pour. When our starter's arrived I was a bit disappointed with just 3 small empinadas and a small pot of sour cream. For over £6 I thought that they were over priced.

After that things improved and the staff seemed to be more attentive even bringing me drinks imp didn't order.

I have eaten in the restaurant before and have had better a experience so I know it can be better. Won't be in a hurry to go back hopefully thing's will improve.

Ordered drinks that took over 30 minutes (coke, tap water and a chocolate milkshake) the starters arrived before the drinks, by the time it got to 35 minutes and still not receiving the drinks I’d had enough. Terrible service especially considering the place was pretty much empty. And the cheek of it that some who ordered a drink after us actually received their cocktail before they even attempted to deliver ours! Ridiculous!!!

Waited 40mins for our 1st drink once seated (pre booked), and a total of 2hrs for a starter and a main - we decided not to order any deserts, at the risk of waiting another hour. We we asked the waitress about the drinks, and she was brash. Can’t fault the food.

Very very poor service booked a table for 6 people at 6.30pm only to be told we would have to wait for our table ? ( we booked over two weeks before going ) we finally got seated at 5mins to 7 ??? What’s the point of booking if you haven’t reserved a table for us. Told to have a drink at the bar that took over 1/2 hr to get served, as a result we were rushing and late for the show , I can see you won’t be getting our custom again �

Unfortunately not a good night here at All!!! Long wait for everything! Got our starters before our drinks! Had a freezi g cold and over cooked steak and chips and the service was awful! No care for the customers just making sure they all hid in the corner and caught up on their gossip!!!! And when I said about my food didn't even get an apology! So all in all pure crap

Just very very slow, almost non existent service. I’d love to say the food was worth the wait but after almost an hour of waiting and not even getting our drinks we left and got a meal elsewhere.

Food wasn’t nice at all. Ordered bbq chicken enchiladas and no way in hell were they bbq .. they were very spicy. Have been to many other Chiquito’s in the country the bbq enchiladas were all the same until I had been to this one.

Also very poor people skills... manger hadn’t a clue what was going on

Food very average at best, service not good at all.

The waiter got our order wrong, so when we finally tracked him down to tell him, he got the hump with us!

Won't be returning

Agree with other recent diners that the service is abysmal. Long waits for food, drinks and even cutlery (I got our own in the end); brusque attitude from staff. Don’t waste time here, go elsewhere
