At the regular monthly CCWA meeting in June, Joanna Marriott gave some wonderful ideas and demonstrations about how to do arrange summer flowers from the garden in a contemporary, more naturalistic style, very favoured by modern brides, and even to some extent by her corporate clients. If you would like to come along to the next CCWA meeting it will be on Thursday 20th July and will feature Jenny and 'The Belles' for the summer concert - all parishioners welcome. (Jenny sings regularly with a small group of young people at the 11.30a.m. Mass.)
Christchurch Summer Fair - Come along and spend the afternoon with us in the Priory Garden (weather permitting)
First Holy Communions starts this weekend! The flowers arrangers have been in and worked their magic! Don't you agree they look fabulous? If you'd like to join our marvellous team, no experience necessary as training will be given. Please call the office on 020 8850 1666 and the flower coordinator will contact you. π
The Easter Vigil - a festival of light and a new candle is lit for the next year and when new people join the Church

ANOTHER GREAT QUIZ NIGHT Β£270+ raised on Saturday 4th March! Helping to pay off the Hall Fund debt. This was a very tight competition with two brilliant teams battling for top place. This resulted in a dead heat, solved by a tie break question!
The Winners and the Runners Up
Grab a team, grab some food and drink and come along to our Quiz Night this Saturday; starts at 7.30pm in Christchurch Catholic Church Eltham hall.
My family and I have been attending Christ Church for many years. For us, the Church is a great family church, very welcoming with a good christian community. The parish priest Father John and all the other priests are approachable and very supportive
I love this Church! I started attending it 7 years ago. It is a big Church and you can feel a little intimidated because of that, but if you are brave and smile and chat everyone is welcoming. I am now a volunteer and I have met some fantastic people young and old. I feel valved and I am part of a great community.
