Christmas Card Angels

Christmas cards imagined by kids with Angelman Syndrome, brought to life by designers, illustrators and artists - with all proceeds going to ASSERT.

Christmas Card Angels was launched 6 years ago when my cousin, Nancy-Freja, was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome - a rare genetic disorder that causes sever learning difficulties.

Just like most of you reading this now, we'd never heard of it, and without charities like ASSERT who give support to families like mine, we'd still be struggling to understand what her future looked like.

One thing we knew straight away though was that we were going to do whatever it took to help her fulfil her potential. Unfortunately, for many kids with conditions like this, the real challenge was to prove to the world that she had just as much potential as you and I.

So to do just that, I challenged a bunch of them to unleash their creativity and design a Christmas card based on a simple brief: Angels - before tasking a team of incredible designers, illustrators, and crafters to bring them to life.

The result? An angelic selection of Christmas cards with 100% of the proceeds going to ASSERT.
