Chywel Meadow Produce is a new venture based in the village of Goonhavern on the A3075 Newquay to Truro road. We share a passion for traditional methods of food production with our backgrounds in the restaurant trade. We breed and raise pigs in outdoor systems allowing them to express their native traits whilst enjoying an outdoor life. They are slow to mature resulting in a great depth of flavour. We butcher in house keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum. Our breeds are Glouceter Old Spot, Whelsh Whites , Saddlebacks and Large Whites providing us with superb flavours, quality bacon and crackling to die for. We sell 7 days a week from our butchers unit and deliver locally for free. A small charge is made for delivery out of our area, but free if you spend over £50.
