Very helpful and staff were friendly had a issue with a voucher management came over very pleasant nice personality and apologetic would recommend this cinema to anyone it's nice to see happy staff

User

Really good experience here today. It really is the little things that matter! My lb wanted all 3 colours of tango ice blast and the guy serving said that one is mango do you still want it! For me I knew my son wouldn't like that flavour and would refuse to drink it so I thought it was so nice of him to tell me to save having tears! Thank you Charlie. (Think that was his name). All stuff we're very helpful and great interaction with my boy, made for a lovely morning out xx

Never have issues as we are Unlimited Pass holders. We book using the Cineworld app which is far easier than using ticket machines or going in person. Seats are better since the re-fit and we don’t have problems (other than people continually sitting in the seats we booked) Food is overpriced but I use the discount for snack as the meal after. Really good deals available.

User

I took my Son here, with my Family to see Incredibles in 4dx today. I had a Fantastic experience. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. When I bought a family deal (which is a bargin! ) and had too much to carry, without being asked the Gentlemen who served me offered to carry the drinks in. Nice clean welcoming cinema. Totally enjoyed the who 4dx experience and will becoming back in the near future. Highly recommend. My son said 'IT'S GREAT, I LOVE IT. (Had a fantastic birthday at Cineworld)

User

Had an issue. We were booked into screen 14 but didn't know it was up stairs. One of the ladies we us has difficulty walking upstairs. It should have said when i booked it was upstairs and that we could have gotten the lift up. We only stumbled upon the lift when we came out of the film. No signs were visible but i had a nosey around and found it. Better signage would be an advantage. The seating in the film was excellent. Very comfortable.

User

First time going, my son and I really enjoyed seeing Jurassic World The Fallen Kingdom. Much more comfortable seats than the Odeon with plenty of leg room for people to walk past to the middle seats. Will be coming back in the future for sure! :-)

User

As with any cinema the food sweets and drinks are pricey but that’s what to expect with paying to see a film with the little extra comforts. Went to see Avengers: Infinity War in the 4DX screen and oh my what an experience. Immersive, gripping, heart wrenching and edge of your seats (literally) thrill ride all while watching a film. The cost to see the film in 4DX is a bit too pricey but for that you do get an unforgettable 4D experience that’s worth every penny. Would highly recommend anyone to see a film in their 4DX screen.

User

It’s a great cinema but agree with many others that it is too pricey for the snacks and drinks.... make them cheaper and smaller maybe so that it is affordable for a family trip. Tickets cost enough as it is!!!

User

Great 4dx cinema but as with most other cinemas, the cost of taking 1 adult, 2 kids, some popcorn and a few pick n mix is ridiculous bordering on criminal. Definetly will be returning 🤦🏼‍♂️😂😂😂

User

Decent seating and legroom, plus the iMac screen is a good experience from watching normal screens, downside the food and drink are a complete rip off, your looking at four times the price of the same thing in the shops.

User

Been a few times before, always great!

But (I know it’s summer)the air con was rubbish!

We all cooked, definitely not working right!

Two hours sitting in a cinema trying not to melt!

Yo guys at cini world NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Sorry but being honest

The rest of the experience was excellent, especially the staff!

And no I did not ask a member of staff to sort the air-con out!

Who takes their family to the cinema for the evening and misses the movie after paying a lot of money for the experience (£2.00 for a small bottle of water!)to moan at staff to turn the temperature down!

Something clearly wrong with the air con,not a happy customer!

User

As a Cineworld Unlimited member I can’t really complain about the service, friendly staff, and choice of films.

But the price of food is rediculous, hence I eat at Toby Carvery every time I got to the cinema instead of spending my money in the shop at Cineworld.

I’ve sat in every screen I think and sad to say some of the smaller screens are awful and need stretching tighter to remove the creases, and the lights on the steps need dimming slightly more so they don’t glare on the screen, but didn’t kill the experience.

But overall I have had a great time every time I’ve visited the venue.

The new revamped Basildon cinema looks great since Cineworld took over from Empire.

Great job, keep up the good work.

Lower the food prices and you’ll sell much much more and make far more profit.

Simple business sense.

User

Seats are comfortable now after the refurb. Staff are very helpful but the prices of the food, snacks, drinks and sweets, added with the over priced ticket fees, it's an absolute rip off. A family visit to the cinema here will cost you the best part of £70. Not good if you're on a budget. My advice is to take your own drinks and treats. Or better still, if you can get to Canvey, Moviestarr are extremely competitively price and the car park is free to cinema users.

User

Lesson learned with screen 12. If you sit right at the back, be prepared for a headache as the speakers are right behind your head and the sound gets distorted. Ears are ringing after the movie and no mention of the speakers proximity to the seat when you book tickets. Great staff and everything else fine but it ruined it for me.

User

Film start time 12.30 but told to wait as cinema being cleaned. A bit unprofessional and a sense of discontent amongst staff. I think a little more training would go

A long way. Just making customers feel welcome, good guidance and a smile. The actual cinema was clean and the seating in good order. Reception area clean. Fair to good.

User

Very expensive family night out.

£66 to watch film.

Then drinks and snacks on top of that.

When ordering slush, was told not working.

Then see people with them 10 minutes later.

Staff need to be a bit more customer friendly.

User

Twice this week we tried to pick tickets up ordered tickets at the machines , impossible , went to entry point where they scan them , our tickets were not the same as the ones we ordered , my granddaughter and I were split apart by 3 rows, when I pointed out to the lady at the entry point that they weren’t what we booked she said “ well they are the ones you have got “ went looked for a manager who told us to go to the ugly bloke over there , luckily the lovely guy on the till was very helpful . So not overly impressed .

User

Purchased tickets on a Tuesday morning, payment came out of my account. Only to be told on the Friday when my partner and I arrived that the film wasn't on and there was a mistake. Not the first time Cineworld has messed up my families experience. Never again. Overpriced and looks and feels like a sweaty disco. Bring back Empire.

User

I had no major issues with cinema except £19.60 for adult and child 2D movie is a bit much. My big issue is with the drink & food. No only it's extremely overpriced (tripple and more to normal prices) but when buying one of the overpriced KID'S deals for kids movie, drink choice is pepsi, fanta, sprite. I said he doesn't drink it and asked for water instead. I was told they don't do 'HEALTHY STUFF'. I only wanted water!!!! So either buy a special cup and box designed for kids with little bit of popcorn or don't buy anything. They do nice cups, buckets etc but we never get them now.
