Went to watch 'Darkest Hour' wit my husband last Wednesday afternoon. The cinema was very clean and tidy. The sound was very good. Sometimes I struggle to hear the dialogue because I have hearing aids but this time the sound was brilliant. Enjoyed every moment.

User

The cinema itself is comfortable, warm and clean. Sometimes films don't seem to be on there for long yet there's sure there from r weeks, which I know is yo do with the distributor and nit the cinema. Toilets are always clean and pleasant. Staff are lovely, friendly etc. My only complaint is the paper bags the sweets or popcorn us put in. It is a constant noise of people rustling, scrunching, rummaging and some people making such a noise it detracts from the film more often than I can stand. I don't understand why they use these things as the cartons can be recycleded, as can the paper bags and they are silent. I know I sound like a right moaner, but I adore going to the cinema and want to hear the film and NOT paper bags.

User

Staff friendly. And it was nice and warm.

Nachos could be better.tasted old and cheese sauce wasn't as nice as it was years ago.saw Lara Croft.

Loved it.xx

User

Staff are lovely, place is clean and tidy.

It is such a treat to see top class opera from ROH for the reasonable price of

£15 and not have to travel into London. Rather like watching sport on TV, you get ‘close up and personal’ in a way that you would never get in the Covent Garden opera house. This production of Macbeth was extremely good.

The seats are comfortable in Cineworld Harlow and as the audience tended to be older, there was no rustling of huge popcorn boxes - one of my chief complaints about going to the cinema these days. The sound was perfect, neither too loud or to quiet. My only bad comment would be that the air con was too cold at times and a bit noisy.

User

I love this cinema. Always clean and staff always helpful. We come here a lot and never had any issues.

User

Friendly staff, very clean cinema, comfortable chairs, good quality screens- perfect little cinema xxx

User

Cinema itself was good, prices high etc etc usual stuff... but why take your screaming kid to a late viewing that's just going to kick the bag of popcorn about and talk all the way though the film?

Harry the hyena behind us too, 30 seconds in and he's laughing away, half expected him to laugh at the credits too.

This is why I download films, they are why I download films.

We was in Friday afternoon for the 3pm Greatest Showman. I never understand start times but trying to get in 10mins before and it's still not cleaned....its not as if the place was rammed! Anyway the staff were friendly sorted a ticket problem for me and gave the cheapest way to pay for the snacks. Interacted with manager who again was friendly. Despite the sub zero temps outside the actual cinema was just as cold!!! So the people were great the rest was just ok.

User

Screen was good, sound was good, seats were tight on the width (No obese comments please) I don't have problems in any other cinema.

User

No complaints about staff, all very lovely and friendly. Adverts, well they've been annoying for 20 years! But the temperature was a nightmare, one minute we were freezing (had to give my wheelchair bound friend my coat, then just when the temperature appeared to become 'room temperature' it was whacked back up again! Like watching a film in a chiller! Oh and £1.80 for a small bottle of water! Bit steep Cineworld!

User

We thought the seats were a little uncomfortable - but seems to be more room between the rows which is good if someone wants to get up during the film.

User

We came with our elderly parent's to watch Murder on the Orient express yesterday and the experience was quite alwful. Walking into the theatre you felt the heat hit you, later on in the film it was cold, then it went hot again, I do think you need to look at your theromstat. Too many adverts, and extremely loud, but when the preview's started the sound the sound went very quite. A couple of minutes into the film the sound went off completely. Eventually the sound came back and the film was rewound to where the audio went off. What annoyed me more was the staff member holding the door open at the end of the film, she could of apologised for the lose of sound at the start of the film, but no nothing. If there would of been an apology I may not if written this.

User

I normally go to the Enfield one. The Cinema is starting to look a bit ragged. Uncomfortable seats and really is looking old.

User

I go here frequently with my daughter to watch children's films, most recently Peter Rabbit (brilliant film, ignore what the critics say). Generally a good experience but I do have a few grumbles 1) Food and drinks are ridiculously expensive. We take our own sweets in now but a coke Coke and a Slurpie £8.00! 2) Takes ages to get served. Maybe time to introduce a bank style queueing system because I always manage to get in the slowest of slow lanes. 3) I'm a big chap and do find it a bit of a squeeze getting into the small seats.

User

Went to see fifty shades darker on Sunday, two things really annoyed me, the temperature in screen 2 started off ok but midway into the film it was freezing cold, both my friend and I had to wrap our scarves and coats around us. Not impressed. And the other is why on earth do you sell popcorn in paper bags?? Throughout the whole film we had to put up with rustling paper bags and people eating like pigs. Totally put me off coming again anytime soon.

User

We go to this particular cinema in Harlow as it’s the most local but it seems the days of people not talking loud during a film a have long gone...It’s a shame some of the overinflated prices charged by cinema’s (which does absolutely nothing to encourage people away from streaming websites!) can’t be used to emply someone to actually be present & warn people if they continue to offend during a film! It hardly seems right that as a paying customer I should be expected to leave the film & look for a member of staff ‘or’ have to make my feelings known to the people being disruptive myself. Thank you Cineworld Harlow for yesterday ruining the experience of myself & family (2 adults & 3 children) watching the new Star Wars film. I hope your corporate owners enjoyed pocketing my money...

User

Something wrong with heating system goes cold half way through film til I'm literally hugging myself to keep warm and this is on several different occasions , tickets are over priced, chairs uncomfortable and food is well overpriced will take my own food and drink next time and a cushion

User

Not sure why every time I purchase something online i’m asked to give my opinion- in fact this is already 2nd time for this film which incidentally was very powerful and a good viewing. Couldn’t say the same about the cinema whose management obviously thought we needed cooling down as the aircon was pumping out cold air instead of warm (mid January!).
