🐾🐱💕Brotherly Love 💕 🐱🐾
This cute pair are Jake and Jonsey they recently visited us to be castrated. Here they both are following the operation, Jake is still a bit sleepy 💤 however Jonsey was loving the attention. It did take a quite a few takes at a photo of Jonsey front on lol.

🌞Heat Warnings❗️❗️
Here’s some tips to keep your pets cool,
⭕️ Walk your dog’s very early morning or late afternoon/evening when the temperature is slightly less. Do not make them run around after balls/sticks or make them run with you etc, just take them for a gentle short walk. ... Take plenty of water out with you for them.
⭕️ Pets who are more at risk of heat stroke are: Pets with dark coloured fur, Short faces breeds ie pugs, boxers, French bulldogs, English bulldogs, Shih tzu, Lhasa Apsos, Persians. Long haired pets Elderly and young pets Pets suffering with medical conditions
⭕️ Concrete/tarmac can get considerably hot, if it is too hot for you to walk on with bare feet then it will be definitely too hot for your dog. (Dogs can burn their feet)
⭕️ DO NOT leave dogs inside your car, even if it is only for a couple minutes, the temperature inside your car can be considerably hotter then it is outside, think metal conducts heat!.
⭕️ Make sure your pets have access to plenty of fresh water and shade.
⭕️ With your smaller pets i.e hamsters 🐹 , rabbits🐰 guinea pigs etc, please make sure they are not in direct sunlight. Please move away from windows or with hutches please move to a shader spot. You can also freeze a separate water bottle and place that in the hutch.
⭕️ Be careful if you have pets that have access to conservatories, especially if the roof is mostly glass, these can act like green houses and get extremely hot.

❗️❗️❗️☀️Serious Warning ☀️❗️❗️❗️❗️ 🐶🐱🐹🐰🐤🐴 Heat stroke dangers for pets - this can be fatal ☠️ (please share with anyone who has animals)
The temperature today has already reached 31c, and we are looking at similar temperatures over the next week.
... Please, please, please be sensible with your pets, do not walk your dogs during the day only very early or late in evenings and even at those times take care, just take a short gentle walk. Make sure there is plenty of shade and water, DO NOT GIVE ICE CUBES as this can actually make your pets hotter.

She is a super sweet, loving girl and will make a great addition to an active family. If you think you can give the adorable Roxy her forever home, contact Dogs Trust.

🐦 Meet Dennis 🐦
This feisty fella is a fledgling sea gull, he was captured just outside our Heybridge practice on Thursday by our qualified nurse Tori and vet Bonnie. Our team noticed him tapping on a the window trying to get in the practice. He certainly knocked on the right window 😊.
After some food, water and a bit of a rest, Bonnie transported him to a lovely lady who takes in all our wildlife cases.

We have nothing but praise for the vets at the surgery, when Rosie was having fits they just acted quickly and so caring. Her case is the first they have seen for pancreatic cancer so a learning curve for all.

User

This vets is amazing I took my staffie Charlie there today after he had a bad experience at another vets and was scared stiff, all the staff from the amazing reception staff to vets and nurses made him feel safe they all came and played with him and he left his visit happy thank you so much.

Thank you for my lovely card I received in the post today. You were so all understanding and extremely kind when we had to have our beloved cat Bobby put to sleep last week. It was a very upsetting time for us all. You all appreciated the upset we were going through, you did not rush me when I said goodbye to him which meant a lot. Thank you all again. Bobby is still very much missed, but you reassured me we was doing the right thing for him xx

User

Thank you Clarendon House for fixing our little dog today! Bonnie, Tori and Caroline.... amazing!

User

So friendly and helpful here really care for the animals

User

Service was fantastic. we went to heybridge lakes unknown us that it was contaminated with Blue/green algae. As we walked towards the 'gate' my dogs had paddled prior to the gate, came to us and we proceeded to the gate...where a noticed then warned us of the danger. Immediately my friend Margaret suggested Clarendon House- Heybridge. Off we go keeping dogs away from each other in the car- any licks could be fatal. The care that both Yi Lin and Denise gave was faultless. Thankyou both so much for your time and skills in keeping our dogs safe. So far they are recovering well.

User

I cannot say how caring the staff at this practice are. They always have the animals best interest at heart. I trust them profusely in the decisions they help me make for my animals best welfare.

User

I am very new to this area and I was recommended this practice by other dog walkers I have met. So pleased I listened to them. Would definitely recommend this practice to anyone.

User

Clarendon house is superb. Its the best!!!

User

Buddy loves going to Clarendon House. The staff are lovely

User

Amazing vets.. The staff are brilliant, wouldn't go anywhere else and have recommended to my friends.

User

A massive shout out to Clarendon house vets. Can not thank them enough after dealing with not only a very traumatised dog but also two very traumatised dog owners. My dog was rushed in after he had been attacked by two other dogs. From the first point of contact ( a call to say he was incoming) to the point he was discharged they were approachable, transparent and more importantly very human. A special thanks to Dr Chirag Patel.

User

A big thank you to the team at Clarendon House for looking after "Bits" and getting his eye better. He thanked me by bringing in a mouse :-)

A big thank you to Sharon and Adele who came the other day to put an end to our beloved moggy TIkka's suffering. They were both so kind and understanding and gentle. It meant a lot to us that we could be at home with tikka as she went to sleep and for us to be able to cuddle her at that time and for her not to be frightened at the end. All the staff are brilliant and understanding but these two ladies made everything a little bit easier to handle, so a big heartfelt thank you from us
