We love this hotel every time we stay the staff are superb and this stay was no exception. The two ladies who checked us in on Friday 24th November were excellent, helpful and professional. Parking was clearly explore with a helpful map as side road was closed. We had booked a twin room by mistake instead of a double and it was no problem for us to change which we appreciated. The room was lovely had air con and all little extras you could need. We love the bar lounge area and breakfast room, fantastic high standards as always and such a lovely comfortable place. We look forward to staying here to visit family a few times a year. Thanks again to the two lovely girls on reception the hotel is very lucky to have such great staff!

Really nice hotel very clean and staff were amazing helped with anything they could I stayed in room 115 I arrived early and my room wasn't ready but was moved to a room that was ready reception staff were so helpful I am now planning on returning to this hotel for leisure not business with my partner

I stayed for two nights and had a great experience . Rooms are to a very high standard. All staff are pleasent and welcoming . Breakfast was lovely . St albans is a great place to visit with this hotel being so central my family and I will definitely be returning .

I booked my 40th birthday party early May there and was extremely pleased with all aspects of the event organisation. The venue is beautiful, the staff is friendly and professional and go the extra mile to please you and your party. I did not stay overnight there but my friends were very happy with their stay. The morning after I met with them in the breakfast room, asked the breakfast team if I could join for breakfast and that was not a problem at all: excellent customer service. Specific shout out to Amy and the breakfast team manager on that day (from South Africa or New Zealand maybe?) who was very entertaining and excellent. The food (buffet in the event, and breakfast) was also excellent: I loved the waffle making machine and this was a hit with the children!

Fantastic hotel , rooms spotless , great service and the best breakfast ever !!

Excellent rooms, the staff was always very helpful and polite, and it is located conveniently close to the city centre, as well as the train station (15-20 min walk from St. Alban City). Spent five nights here, and I enjoyed every minute of it!

Hotel staff were excellent , bar was good. Rooms were just ok . Biggest problem was no air con and Windows only opened a small amount. Location was excellent and had parking . Would stay again but only in the winter .

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the hotel for one evening. It's conveniently located in the heart of St Albans and right on top of everything. The staff were very helpful and professional. The only negative comment is in relation to the room. We were a little dissapointed as the room was rather 'tired' and not what I would regard fitting of a 4star hotel. With some care and attention to detail this could easily be rectified.
