... For this Hard-House Friday we celebrate the birthday of possibly the UK’s and certainly London’s most ardent supporter of Hard Dance fondly known as Auntie Lou of 414.
For at least 26 years Louise has been at the helm of what has been the home of Hard House – Hard Trance in London.
So this coming Friday let’s all get together and celebrate with this wonderful person who over the years has played her part in keeping the London hard dance scene alive by way of the 414.

The venue is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a great night of quality dance music and I would recommend this venue to any promoter. It was pouring with rain and a difficult night to promote, but a surprising number of 414 regulars turned out to make it a successful event. One punter fell and hurt his knee and the owner and his team personally called an ambulance and dealt with all the necessary support for him and his friends. A gem in the crown of Brixton nightlife? The 414 is not just a club, it is a family run venue that offers safety and enjoyment for all attendees. It has such a friendly atmosphere and is known for giving new talant and Dj's a place to promote/play their own sounds. My first ever set played in a club was at 414 in 1994 for Mr Kilroy(RIP) at his Global Explosion rave with MC Navigator. The club hasn't changed a bit and is going on strong as it has pure vibes and is run by pure people.

Know club & felt mass cheese commercialism force on me for a pricy ticket..thinking that maybe my 30yrs of clubbing was over:/..I wandered back to the 414..pow!!! just what the doc ordered.i was welcomed & felt at home.meeting the most friendly,amazing,interesting people from all back grounds & ages.many different nights are held here..i delight in the new & skilled Djs from all over the world that come to play...yes I'm a huge fan & regular at this little oasis.the best little BIG club in the world... see you on the dance floor;)

I was lucky enough to be asked to play some music in this place last weekend and what a joy I can say it was!

Brilliant mixture of people, receptive and eager to dance, staff were very welcoming and the over all experience was fantastic!

To think some idiot is trying to shut this place down is a travesty and I really hope it doesn’t happen!

Clubs like this is where grass roots underground music thrives and without them it will be lost!

remains a Brixton establishment for years to come!!

I can say many good things about this place and is not going to be enough. Amazing music, awesome vibe, really nice crowd, friendly staff who always welcome you with a smile, incredible and beautifully decorated themed parties every couple of weeks. This is THE club in London. If you have never been give it a go. You won't stop coming!

Had an awesome time in there last nite! Lovely intimate venue, fantastic vibe, great people behind the bar, and door staff lovely and friendly - a real rarity! A little gem tucked away in Brixton. One of the only nightclubs that still has that old skool vibe where there was a sense of peace, love and unity. I met open minded people who felt the love for music, enjoying the freedom to dance until early hours of the morning and chilling out on the terrace watching the sun come up. Good times x

Experienced The 414 for the 1st time last night (3rd Fed) hubby had been asked to play. Ive not been clubbing in London for years and this place made it felt like I was coming home. Great venue, amazing and friendly staff and the people were great. Havent stopped smiling today and cant wait to go again

Club 414, boasting an upstairs dining area and rooftop smoking section I’d say this little gem of a venue meets the requirements for hosting soirées of unprecedented dimension. The stage although smallish seems huge when the plethora of international musicians step up and do their thing. Staff, management and the clientele were pleasant.

If you visit Brixton do visit Club 414 and experience that cool, urban/international vibe. Tell them LeBurn sent you.

Banging venue/club everytime ive been there the music is propper stomping, never no trouble. The bar staff are all really friendly. Not a bad word to say about the 414. X peace. See you again soon.... ♬♫♪

Anytime i enter in that place i feels like home theres no words to describe the positivity of the venue i feel sorry for the location been targeted by local council by greedy developers not to mention they have to keep the sound away from the floor in respect to local residents xxxxx

An amazing grass roots club run by a small team that actually do give a shit .

Also bar prices were ok, but I'm no expert as I only drink sort drinks

After 16 years of visiting this place, it still feels safer than the majority of London, like a home from home! The owners are warm, welcoming and hardworking, constantly on the ball to make sure everyone has a good and most importantly safe night. Staff have always been a pleasure. Not many places you can get a cup of tea at 1am and not be judged. Highly recommend it regardless of your musical tastes!

good music, friendly crowd but RUDE and unfair security staff, horrible "lady" owner. didn't feel safe and welcome after 3 years away from London. couldn't enjoy a good night with friends and the music I love.

what happens with me us there brought back all ugly face of life in London. I hope the love, kindness and light reach the heart of this security staff and the owners. London need more LOVE.
