We had a great night! The staff were polite, wine and canapés- perfect choice for our women’s party!

We came for a hen part in Aug 2017. We had a booth in the basement, it was fantastic, the staff really looked after us! It was a great atmosphere and great music. We would highly recommend!!

My friend and I have never been out in London before and the service we received on the 6th February was way beyond what was expected in a club. As we were walking past your club your bouncer, Rodney? Was promoting your happy hour deals made us feel very welcomed and was the reason we went in there. When we went out for a cigarette he warned us about the type of people out at this hour and said to stand one side of him so if any came up to us he would speak to them so we didn't have to. He made us feel very safe. Rodney is a top bouncer! The waitress, I believe her name is Nardia? The lady with the amazing dance moves! She was so lovely throughout the night, brought the drinks to our table and was all round a very good host and representative for your club. She helped us with getting an uber home as my phone had run out of battery and I'm pretty sure she must have paid for it! So thankyou! She is a great asset to your team, as is Rodney. They both deserve something out of this as they are the reason we will return again when we go to London. All round great music exactly what I was wanting and the rest of the bar staff were lovely! 10/10 Thankyou for a great first night out in London!

I went on a Wednesday night with a friend and not only was the security friendly, but the bartenders were as well. The cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced and the atmosphere was fun despite being midweek. If love to see this place on the weekend of a Wednesday night was this fun.

I had a post wedding celebration at Club 49 where we hired the whole venue on 30/04/17. The team were fantastic in the build up and were very accommodating to what we required and allowed us to have many meetings prior to the event.



They organised the DJ (who played all the songs provided prior to the event plus many more), Food and allowed us use of their TV systems for picture slideshows.



Could not have asked for more on the night from the Security, bar staff, DJ and the owners on the night constantly asking me if everything was going well. All of my guests had a fantastic night! Thank you so much once again!

I had a great night for my birthday here. I booked a booth in the main area and the staff were so attentive to us. All of my guests had an awesome time too! The music was perfect for us!! All in all a perfect birthday.

I celebrated my 26th birthday here last Saturday and had the best night out I've had for a long time! The music was great, the staff were so friendly and accommodating to my group, and the venue's decor was very grown up. My friends told me that the drinks were a good price and we have discussed returning to this club as we had such a good time! Arranging my booking was easy and efficient. We felt like VIP's on the night with our own roped off area and security, allowing us the most perfect girls night out! Thank you Club 49.

Helpful booking service from the club manager and deposit refunded as promised. No issues with getting in, friendly environment with great mix of music. Prices are as expected for the area had a great time 100% will come back

Had a great night out here last night as a group of 10 guys in the VIP area. The staff were helpful and friendly - even when we were causing issues, they did a great job of sorting us back out! It's not big but has a cosy/intimate vibe with different spaces and loudness levels to keep everyone happy! Thanks again... :)

Bit crowded so not much room for dancing but the music was right up my street ! Not sure about the negative comments about charging certain amount for drinks ?? Can't fault this place . I went out to Club 49 for the first time last night and honestly I thought it was great. I had an amazing time, made new friends and enjoyed the music � the most.... it was amazing and I would go back there again....

Had a birthday party here and was great. Would recommend. Hired the VIP area out so had own space. The bar manager and everyone on the end of the phone was very responsive and helpful leading up to the party. Classic Big Night Out music. Decent prices on wine, beer and standard spirits. Tequila shots are ludicrously expensive (£9 each I vaguely recall) but hey this is Soho. Only negatives were bar staff went over quite a bit of my specified bar tab figure and I got stung for an extra 10% than I wanted to be. Also the bouncers randomly pick people and say they're too drunk. It's a bit weird, not sure why they do it, have heard other people say the same. Overall though, great birthday party venue!

Worst club I have ever been. Charge for entry, it's very small, smells like somebody has just thrown up. Drinks are extremely expensive. Even the cloakroom is more expensive then average clubs. Definitely not worthy, don't waste your time, go somewhere else!

Tonight one woman on the door, long brown hair, decided that she really didn’t like our friend in the “puffa jacket”’s attitude, and wouldn’t let him in. She had no reason to refuse him entry and as she represent the club I, and our party, find this disgraceful. Would not give them a penny of our money

This club is dated, men are only allowed in with women, women are only allowed in if single, it costs 10 to get in, it isn't worth going in for free, the staff are artificial, unhelpful and rude, the drinks are expensive (20 for vodka and coke), the music is awful, the place is dirty, too small, too hot, antisocial, the door staff are rude



All in all, don't waste your money or time on this place



As for its attitudes, I was disgusted.

This club don't deserve even a single star. They didn't let us in for the simple fact that we are foreigners (french and spanish). 4 mens and one girl very thirsty didn't spend a single pound because you didn't want to! The manager said to the security guards to don't let us go in in a very agressive way, even about to bit one of my friends. Really, so embarazing feeling like that in a city like London. This club needs a new management constructure!! Foreigners... Dont go there!! You are not welcome!! Racist!!!!!!

The worse service I ever had. My friend and I were overcharged plus they collected our drinks too soon as an attempt to make us spend more. Manager did not know how to address the issue. He was super rude to the point to call security to quick us out when we weren't bothering anyone. Complaint to the general managers but does not seem to make any different. No wonder it was empty when I went there. The worse customer service one could expect!!! My advise: if you want to be robbed it is indeed the perfect place to go...

8 shots for £81?! Also at apparently £10/shot I have absolutely no idea where the extra 1 came from. Really? Come on now. Surely as you’re over charging your customers you could AT THE VERY LEAST afford a decent sound system?

Also it wouldn’t hurt if you actually allowed people to sit down from time to time. I understand soho is expensive but surely it doesn’t cost that much extra to give your patrons space to rest their feet for a moment so they can drink away the memory of £10 drinks and terrible service?



Let’s think about this logically, if you allow your patrons to sit down on EMPTY chairs you’re not losing out on money. IN FACT, you’d actually end up earning more due to the fact that they’d be able to carry on dancing and drinking in your establishment. It’s just bad business.



Just food for thought. But from the looks of things from previous reviews you don’t actually take any notice of them. I personally won’t be coming back here, but I do hope that this feedback could come in useful for you.

The management has changed and it is just a tourist money trap

They gave new rules to exclude many people- clubs should be open to anyone - if not then don't waste money on them

My sister booked an area at Club 49 for my hen do. When she booked and paid a deposit she was told we would all be on the guest list and get free entry. She booked the table for 10:30. When we arrived we were then told we had to pay £10 each to get in as it was after 10. Surely when this booking was made the staff should have informed us of this.



We paid and went in anyway, then two members of the group were asked to go outside for a coffee for 10 minutes by the bouncer because they were "too drunk". Not only were they not drunk, if this was the case why did you let them in and take their money first? We then contested this, and the bouncer then tried to back track and denied saying any of our party were too drunk.



We were appalled by the way we were treated, the customer service was shocking, and from reading other reviews it seems we were not alone in feeling this way!

Music was great all night BUT the drinks and staff were appalling. I was charged £8.50 for cranberry juice and the smallest flicker of vodka (they mixed juice before the vodka...poor!) to be told it's a double! All bar staff charged different prices for the same drinks and then sneaked in a 'service charge'. I won't be going back!

Just to let everyone know all the 5 star reviews are from friends and family of the club owners and managers as I once worked at this venue



This club is very racist so if you are a black man avoid it and save your money - the owner MR PATEL has previously told door girls to ‘not let any coloured people in’ can you believe he is using the word coloured? Sounds like a proud racist.

The staff and clients are extremely chavvy and the cloak room girl goes through peoples bags, she’s stolen things like perfume and lipstick and money before. She now works as collecting money.

They also hand out personal information without anyone’s consent



The waitress nadine will lie and tell bouncers that you threatened her for her own entertainment. She has issues and plays victim for no reason at all.

If the security staff could actually organise a cue system for people wanting to attend and if the female promoter would stop arguing with people, it may actually be a good venue. Bad staff always manage to ruin a potentially good venue.

Got kicked out by a bouncer for moving a small table an inch just so there was enough room to dance. Being charged, even at the bar more than 10% for any order. No matter how much you spend in this bar you will be treated like a criminal. I will not be sending clients here. AVIOD AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT TO MAINTAIN YOUR BUSINESS REPUTATION!

Go in at your own peril! Same order at the bar fluctuated in price; doorman trick of making you go out to ‘sober up’, so that you can come back in and spend more; £400 magnums of drink bought to your table, even though no body ordered it and then once one member of your party assumed you’d ordered it and opens it you’re billed; shot girls bringing shots to the table as if some one in your group had ordered them, again once taken being billed £5 a shot. Whilst you think it’s a fun, vibrant club it isn’t. From start to finish you’re being manipulated to spend far more than you’d bargained for. 1* is 1 too many

Visit this bar with a group of friends to celebrate. We spent a lot of money on cocktails and shots and was Just getting into the night when we where told to move. Shoved on to 1 table as apparently the other table was booked even though no reserved sign was on it. No please can u move here's another table just move.

Due to her rudeness we decided to take our customers else where. As we where leaving the same jumped up staff member said. Good let them go as we where common as muck.

They where happy to take the 100s we spent on there drinks. Us common folk will not be returning nor will any of our friends or fb friends.

Just to let everyone know all the 5 star reviews are from friends and family of the club owners and managers as I once worked at this venue



This club is very racist so if you are a black man avoid it and save your money - the owner MR PATEL has previously told door girls to ‘not let any coloured people in’ can you believe he is using the word coloured? Sounds like a proud racist.



This club is small tiny in fact so please do not let the pictures fool you



They don’t state the service charge and then force you to pay



The staff and clients are extremely chavvy and the cloak room girl goes through peoples bags, she’s stolen things like perfume and lipstick and money before. She now works as collecting money.



They have sent me dodgy text messages acting like immature childish school boys



The manager is known for sexual harassment and has followed girls home before



They also hand out personal information without anyone’s consent



The waitress nadine will lie and tell bouncers that you threatened her for her own entertainment. She has issues and plays victim for no reason at all.



I guess it’s true what they say men with small penis have issues

If the security staff could actually organise a cue system for people wanting to attend and if the female promoter would stop arguing with people, it may actually be a good venue. Bad staff always manage to ruin a potentially good venue.

Got kicked out by a bouncer for moving a small table an inch just so there was enough room to dance. Being charged, even at the bar more than 10% for any order. No matter how much you spend in this bar you will be treated like a criminal. I will not be sending clients here. AVIOD AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT TO MAINTAIN YOUR BUSINESS REPUTATION!

Go in at your own peril! Same order at the bar fluctuated in price; doorman trick of making you go out to ‘sober up’, so that you can come back in and spend more; £400 magnums of drink bought to your table, even though no body ordered it and then once one member of your party assumed you’d ordered it and opens it you’re billed; shot girls bringing shots to the table as if some one in your group had ordered them, again once taken being billed £5 a shot. Whilst you think it’s a fun, vibrant club it isn’t. From start to finish you’re being manipulated to spend far more than you’d bargained for. 1* is 1 too many

Disgusting rude jumped up staff.

Visit this bar with a group of friends to celebrate. We spent a lot of money on cocktails and shots and was Just getting into the night when we where told to move. Shoved on to 1 table as apparently the other table was booked even though no reserved sign was on it. No please can u move here's another table just move.

Due to her rudeness we decided to take our customers else where. As we where leaving the same jumped up staff member said. Good let them go as we where common as muck.

They where happy to take the 100s we spent on there drinks. Us common folk will not be returning nor will any of our friends or fb friends.

Club 49 what a total let down. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Disgusting organization and rude people outside, they didn't let me in because with trainers (white beautiful brand new trainers). I was with other 10 friends and everyone was pissed. Staff rude and with no manners.

After proactively booking guest list, I'm absolutely disgusted to have received this sexist response from Club 49 in Soho today!

How a modern club can discriminate against a group of males looking to spend money in their club to celebrate a friends birthday is totally beyond me! I bet if it was a group of females you would happily accommodate their party right?!

Absolutely disgusted with the staff and service received here.

Staff were not only rude but were also aggressive and argumentive!

Will not be returning and will ensure that all friends are aware of this joke of a place!

Absoloutly shit service. They don't honour their one free voucher cocktails. Also charge 12.5% for card payments. Manager is extremely rude and doesn't really understand T&Cs. Don't come here, waste of time and money
