Well the temperatures are dropping outdoors so we are starting to ramp up the indoor aquarium side of things. Over 3000 new fish through the door this week with some amazing specimens, a lot of the community side but also a lot of cichlids, oddballs and l number plecs.

Here is the mutts nuts of pond filters, ordered in for a customer this is the Oase compact L drum filter for a huge pond install I'm doing. Comes standard with a 60 micron sieve on the drum but for this install we have upgraded it to 30 micron - yes that's drinking water clarity in a pond. Other bits on this install are the oase module to hold the pumps, 2x evolution aqua 110w if units, 2 bottom drains, 2 surface skimmers, 2x variable flow 20,000lph pumps, oase phos remover m...odule, loads of oase spotlights, 3ft water blade and a crazy amount of pipework.
The filter itself is self cleaning like no other on the market, automatic top up for water changes etc so makes pond keeping so much more enjoyable.

Check out our zoa coral table, loads of quality colonies in there all at great prices. Coral gardens are in too, looking wicked as usual. Another big mushroom and zoa shipment due this week too.

Went here after getting useless service at pets at home. The guy spent ages having a go at fixing the very old filter as a first try, rather than just selling me an expensive new one straight away. Explained and showed me what he was doing. Cleaned it, took it apart. It didn't work so helped me select the new one, explained it, put it together. Superb service. Patient. Helpful. The staff at coast aquatics are very knowledgeable and interact with their customers without talking down to them. The amount and quality of stocked items is great and very fairly priced. I have already made some great purchases including my 4 new fancy black moor goldfish and will be back soon. Highly Recommend.

I love this shop. I have 4 moors all settled in at home and have just got a couple of suckers. The staff are very knowledgeable and won't push expensive and not needed extras like some stores where you buy things for your Pet At Home. Great stock at amazing prices even for a tight budget such as mine. Plus my youngest loves to see all the tropicals. It's shopping and a day trip in 1.

First time coming to you guys today. Been on the page and thought let's have a look. It's a 40 min drive each way and I was NOT disappointed. Huge selection of fish and dry stock. Helpful staff and I even walked out with a new canister filter. Thanks guys you will see me again soon.

Fantastic shop, i could stay in there for hours just watching all the beautiful fish that they have in stock, ive just set up my first tropical aquarium so i am very new to it all but the staff were very very helpful in the shop, would definately recommend a visit to anyone....& ill definately be back next week for some more fish for my new tank,once my new ones have settled in, thank you coast aquatics ☺☺

Fantastic place, such a range of stock too. Jack and the team are extremely knowledgeable and offer sound advice not to sell but with what works best with your current set up, so you don't feel forced into buying. I live over 3 hours away and this was no problem with transporting fish, as they were packaged accordingly and have settled in extremely well. It is worth the trip, as more local stores to me just don't have the warming feeling when you walk in and take a look around. Thanks again
