Story Schools in Nepal are desperate for water, stationary and educational materials. One of the school we would like to support is based on the eastern Nepal and CODEC-UK decided to raise funds to support for the construction of Dip boring for drinking water.
We have targeted to raise £500 for the construction of Dip boring for and request you for your help to the school.
Help us by getting involved in our ‘Donate for drinking water’ campaign. By donating £5, £10, £25 or £50 you can help us make a difference to a school in Nepal where poor children learn. Once you’ve made your donation we will add your name to our ‘Donate for drinking water’ chart displayed in reception of the community schools.

Brief information about today’s meeting. 1) Meeting allocated individual executive members to co-ordinate tasks such as fund raising, programme co-ordination, liaise with other organisations for collaborative programs etc. The meeting has made individual members aware of their roles. 2) Meeting has instructed Bishesh ji, Tanka and Sanjay Sir to liaise with Dr Shyam Chand Daju to explore for possible projects funding, Specially Rising Star 2 and other p...ossible projects. 3) Meeting has also instructed all executive members to add minimum 5 new members and prompt to donate minimum £1 a month ( I will send you the membership form soon), Rasmi ji and Ishwor ji to co-ordinate with all members and update on this group. Meeting has also instructed all members to kindly let Rasmi ji or Ishwor ji know for any new members added. The membership charge can be diposited into CODEC-UK bank accounts or handed over to treasurer Anil Sir. 5) Meeting has also decided to start raising funds to support a primary school in Nepal for drinking water source. Primary School is in Morang, Sunder Garaincha-6, Morang. The project we are going to support is small drinking water supply for the Hari Dev Primary School.
6) Meeting also decided for the next meeting to be scheduled within 2 months the latest, in which the review of the progression on tasks allocated to individual members, action taken and their contributions will be evaluated. And further decisions will be made to execute the plans.
There are many other decisions made during the meeting, those members who were unable to attend today’s meeting, please get in touch for detailed information and let us know if we can do something different in your views.
However, we can always discuss or present our immediate thoughts in social media groups such as Facebook, whatsapp and Viber we have created.
Finally, thank you so much everyone for your presence, total of 9 members were present in the meeting. Today’s active participation and willingness to contribute is really appreciable. Looking forward to same kind of approach from all the members in the future too. Together we can do a lot.

Dear All Namaskar. CODEC-UK would like to thank you all who attended 9 th AGM on Sunday, 7 th January, 2018 at Barham Park.

9th Annual General Assembly of CODEC-UK was held in Tamu Samaj Community Hall, 66 Harrow Road, Sudbury, Wembley. The programme was chaired by chairperson Mr. Shankar Prasad Dahal hosted by Mr. Tanka Bhattarai in the presence of chief guest The Worship The Mayor Brent Mr. Bhangawanji Chouhan. After briefing health and safety, member Mr. Ram Prasad Adhikari welcomed all the guests and invitees. The annual report and audit report were presented during the assembly by Deputy Secr...etary Mrs Rachana Shrestha and Treasurer Mrs Rukmini Shrestha respectively.
Regardless of his tight time schedule, Mr. Chauhan managed to attend the programme before leaving for a flight, praising the actions and plans CODEC-UK has been executing. Guests, RK Tripathi; General Secretary, NRNA-UK also highlighted the need of ‘togetherness’ and ‘mass effort’ for development of community. Other guests, Ms Trupti Sangani; Councillor Brent, Mr. Sashidhar Nepal, Acting Chair Person of Yeti Association of Nepal, Ms Prasanna Kandel; President of Nepalese Nursing Association-UK also spoke in relation with efforts made by Community Development Centre UK to support locally and internationally to marginalized groups. The first part of the programme was closed by Chair Person Mr. Shankar Prasad Dahal who also announced the dissolve of ‘then’ executive committee. After immediate executive committee was dissolved, an election committee of three members, Mr. Min Bania, Mr. Subodh Timalshina and Mr Sashidhar Nepal was formed. The nominated candidates were elected with a big applause by other members without any objection.
