Went to my niece Fiona and Gareth Jehu wedding yesterday was stunning from start to leaving this morning, made their special day a wonderful experience, what a fabulous location, venue and gardens were a perfect fit for such a fab couples wedding, fabulous food at wedding reception, evening menu hog roast and buffet, and 3 lovely bedrooms for overnight stay, to getting up this morning to a hearty breakfast, thanks to the attentive waitresses and waiters and bar staff at both bars as nothing was too much trouble for them, would I recommend? Most definitely x

We had our wedding reception here on 1st June and it was outstanding. From the build up all the way to the event all the staff from the events team through to the server team have been brilliant, so professional and always available to take queries. The team on the day were so attentive and everything ran like clockwork, nothing was a bother for them. The service was so streamlined and hat's off to the kitchen staff because all the food was unbelievably scrumptious! We had such a good evening. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Coed-y-Mwstwr for any occasion and I look forward to visiting again.

We got married here on Sunday 29th April 2018. The whole day was amazing! Everybody talked about how nice the setting was, the Wedding breakfast was beautiful, as was the evening meal of Pie & Chips. All of the hotel staff were fantastic, not just on the wedding day but from day one. Big thanks to all of the girls from the events team, amazing! Can’t wait to visit again for a meal or a cheeky overnight stay.

We got married here 23rd July 2017 and it was absolutely fantastic. It was the perfect day and I cannot thank or recommend the staff highly enough. The events team were very professional in assisting us with the planning, keeping everything on track, open and flexible to our ideas and making suggestions to ensure an extra special day. I especially want to thank Jo who was my main contact for all her support and also Olivier for the exceptional service on the day, his care and the attention of all the staff was great and made it easy for us to enjoy every part of the day from the service to the evening reception. The setting is absolutely beautiful and as we experienced both rain and shine had the opportunity to use both the fabulous (newly decorated) reception and bar area, as well as the lovely inside rooms. The choir looked and sounded great providing entertainment on the beautiful staircase. All our guests were looked after throughout the day and we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended this wedding venue and all the staff!!

We got married at the Coed on 30/3/18, it is such a beautiful venue in the most amazing setting. Our day was perfect, the staff were fantastic through the whole process and especially on the day, I can’t thank you all enough. Can’t wait to come to visit! �

We celebrated our wedding day here on 20th May 2017 and what an unforgettable day it was! The staff here can't do enough for you! Special mention to Nicola, Jo and Kelly who were our main contacts during the planning process and the run up to the day. Communication was excellent and all were helpful and professional and quick to respond to any queries that we had. From our initial visit we knew that it was the perfect venue. The hotel is situated in a quiet, peaceful area, the grounds are beautiful and they have recently refurbished the bar area and rooms.

The day ran smoothly and all staff were attentive on the day. Sion was brilliant as our master of ceremonies and did an amazing job rounding all our guests up! Jackie was also fab, my mum visited when the refurb was going ahead and Jackie offered to show my mum the rooms and choose one for her stay on the wedding day.

The service was outstanding and food and drinks were served quickly both at the wedding breakfast and bar service. We were also able to invite our guests to join us for breakfast which we thought was a nice touch! There was lots to choose from and it was really tasty!

Overall a fantastic day had by all, loved every minute of it! Thank you for a truly memorable, special day. Looking forward to returning again for our friend's wedding in April! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful venue for their wedding.

I was so impressed with the whole day, beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds, our meal was delicious and the staff could not do enough to help us.

Extra special thanks to the fabulous lady behind the bar that ran off to get two sewing kits, as my daughters dress malfunctioned. We will definitely be back for afternoon tea. Xxx

Took my mam for a high tea treat. We both absolutely loved it and to put the cherry on the cake, the staff were extremely efficient and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Only just now getting around to writing a review, my husband and I got married on 9th September 2017. It was the best day from start to finish. The venue was perfect and the staff were faultless! The whole wedding process was made so easy by the girls in the events team. I would 110% recommend going there to stay/eat or have a wedding! Thank you for helping us with the best day of our lives!

Had our wedding here in July 2012 amazing day food drink accommodation. Plus we cum for anniversary dinner every year and will be again this year. Love this place amazing memories

Had a wonderful Christmas lunch yesterday and father Christmas even paid a visit. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone. The food was beautiful but above all was the excellent staff. Everyone was so professional and friendly, especially Jo who arranged the afternoon for us and went above and beyond what we expected. Also the young lady tending the bar really went out of her way to make the day a lovely experiences Merry Christmas to all the staff, we'll be back next year.

Had a lovely mothers day lunch on sunday. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was amazing. Thanks so much x

Enjoyed a delicious bar lunch with friends today. The new look lounge is beautiful and the gardens are looking amazing. Daffodils everywhere.

Brilliant! We got married here on 6th August 2017 and it has been a smooth ride from the get go!

Our wedding day was an absolute dream! Everyone at Coed y Mwstwr have been so accomodating and made sure everything went perfectly! Big thank you to the girls Jo and Kelly, and especially Nicole who was our main wedding coordinator!! They have been fab in organising and putting everything together! They have an exceptional eye to detail and will put you at ease when you start to stress out!! They really know what they are doing, and i literally cannot recommend them enough! Sion, who run our day faultlessly was also an absolute gem!!! Cool as a cucumber and just exceptional!

The residential dj Justin was also brilliant!! He played everything we wanted and really knows how to get people on the dancefloor!

The food was plentiful and of the highest standards, and every single room in the venue...amazing!!

After the shock of actually winning the valentines afternoon tea competition we had a wonderful experience and a fab day. The staff and food was amazing especially jo who came and had a chat with us. It was a lovely location and we felt so comfortable and relaxed. We will most definitely be back in the future.

Lovely staff, lovely food, in a beautiful setting ... everything was spotless -

My only gripe was, after sitting by the open fire for a while, I went to a freezing room .. when I enquired, they said the heating is on a timer and will kick in at 6.30pm ... found that to b a little odd and outdated ... lovely once it kicked in tho �

Very disappointed that it was afternoon tea but no bone china. I was expecting bone china crockery with pretty flowers on but there was no colour anywhere on the table but just all white with some black slate trays. Not the old fashioned afternoon tea experience I was expecting
