Hi all ... The access over iron latch lane has been resolved. :) We are just , waiting for BRB to confirm the weight Limit on bridge and then ready for the hand over of The land in the new year.... It's taken us a long time to make this happen. And in the new year we will up and runing.

Hi to all. We had a meeting today with land owners and Colchester council. And things are moveing on very well. The issue over new tree plantation has been sorted :) And we are now in the process of sorting out access to the site.... Paper work for the hand over is being drawn up as well. So we are getting there slowly at last.
The land owners have stated that you ride there at your own risk. And no new builds .till colchester council have sighed ,hand over Paper work. This is to cover there self legally, which is understandable. Not long to go now guys :)

Can people please go dead slow then turning off halstead road. On to iron latch lane. And give way to dog walkers. As they have the right off way. And keep your speed down till... You get in to the wood. Big thanks HELMETS ARE A MUST Once site is handed over it will be no helmet.no rideing.

Hi all. we are at the final stage of the bike park happening. The new land owners are at the point to hand over the land to Colchester council. The council is just sorting out a point about access to site. witch will be soon sorted.

Hi to all. Its been some time. But we have good news The old post with map off the old Stanway pit. This site is going to be stanway country park. A pond, new trees and a public foot path runing round .... The out side of land There will be some mtb runs build on the site with we be on the small Size. The mtb part of site is more aimed for beginners. In the near future.

Great news... But first I would like to welcome the new members, please feel free to share this page with your friends. I had a meeting with Colchester borough council this morning reguarding the bike park, they are backing the project 100% the next meeting is scheduled for next month where we will be visiting the proposed site off Church lane, Stanway. Between now and then I would appreciate positive feedback on what you would like to see happen on this site, I would like t...o set up a group meeting on site where we can put our ideas across and put a basic design onto paper Hope to see you all soon Mark
