We still have spaces left for our Record Keeping course in Bristol on 27th July. A great one day course looking at the SCPs Record Keeping and Consent Standards, how to write good patient notes, the legal requirements surrounding patient notes, how to audit your own patient notes, consent for treatment, facts and figures regarding litigation, plus there is a section on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Course also running in Leeds and London later in the year.

Congratulations to the winners of our Foot Health Month 2018 photo competition......
First prize was awarded to Queensferry Podiatry Practice in Edinburgh. The judges commented, ‘Their window display was nice and easy to read, gave information in a simple but effective way and tied in very nicely with the whole campaign.'
Second prize went to East Sussex Healthcare. The judges said, ‘A nice variety of themes were displayed, there was great use of the space and it was a fanta...stic location. Loved the sashes too!'
Third prize went to Wick Medical Centre in the Highlands. The judges commented, ‘There was great planning around changing the boards weekly and lots of relevant information given each week too.'
Thanks to everyone else who took part in the photo competition and Foot Health Month 2018, raising the profile of podiatry around the UK.

Self-employed joiner Andrew Deakin has had diabetes for 18 years. When he visited his local podiatrist with what he thought was a non-healing blister, he learned that he had a foot ulcer and charcot foot. This is story of how diabetes has affected his life, his work and his health, and how podiatry has supported him to manage his condition.
