Comedor means “Dining Room” in Spanish - So why not make it yours?
Our food is inspired by South America - a whole continent of often overlooked cuisine! And what a continent it is - astonishing diversity of flavours and tastes, plants and animals, arising from the historic melting pot of ancient indigenous worlds of Incas and Mayas and "new" European traditions.

We got given a desert with candle in it (on the house) & sung happy birthday without asking for this to be done! We were made to feel very welcome & special! We will definitely be coming back!
We first tried this restaurant almost 5 years ago and thought it was wonderful then but wow! We booked yesterday for our first wedding anniversary and were not disappointed!! We received two glasses of prosecco on arrival, service with a smile throughout from our lovely waitress Agnes and the food was incredible! Steak is always top class but can't fault starters or sides either. Great wine selection too and with a small dessert to share, our meal was perfection. All washed down with a whopping 50% off steaks as it was a Monday and our evening was complete. Would highly recommend to any meat eaters out there. You won't find a better steak on Upper Street. We discovered this place few months ago and I am glad we found this. Since then I am a regular customer here and tried many things of the menu. Staff is great, very helping and always welcoming. Service is god and quick. Menu is very appealing, very good things to eat plus the wine list is just amazing. My personal favorite is their churrasco steak, very big in size, very juicy and they make it just perfect. Desserts are really heavenly! This place is amazing and one of my favorites. This place is worth a visit, highly recommended!
Tried this place on the last night of our weekend break. It was well worth the visit. One of the best steaks I have eaten for many years, would recommend.
Realy enjoyed myself, the steak was great and the service was really good! A pleasant evening!
Our third visit last night, this time with the children, fantastic steaks, great service, and not over priced. Great value. My son said his steak was the best he'd ever had. Can't fault it. We'll be back!

I've eaten at a lot of steak restaurants and this is my new favourite place - tastiest steak I've ever had! The fillet was cooked to perfection and melt-in-the-mouth good, the sides have so much flavour (I tried the spinach with garlic, creamy mash and Provençal chips) and the chocolate torte was to die for. I love this place as it's in no way pretentious, the staff are really friendly and attentive plus, the food and drink on offer is great value for money and not overly priced (compared with some other great steak restaurants). Will definitely be returning here - I don't have a single average/bad comment to say about it!
I had my birthday dinner with my husband here last night and was lovely experience. This place was located at a very beautiful view, very nicely decorated and very friendly staff. Menu especially the wine menu was great. We had crispy pork belly for starters and they were very good in portions. For main I had beef fillet steak and it was mouth watering, fresh juicy and very good blend of flavors. We were so full after the steaks that we had no room for desserts. I totally loved this place and I am definitely returning.
Had a lovely meal tonight. Starters of mixed sausage, breads and empanadas were fab. Steak, spinach, humitas, chips and bernaise sauce was great. I’d recommend

Really good atmosphere with an excellent selection of starters, superb steaks and s good choice of extras and sauces. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive and the service is quick without feeling rushed. Definitely go back again.

Daughter had black cod beautifully marinated. I stuck to my traditional rib-eye ideal & cooked just as I asked. Service was good atmosphere was just right. Picked restaurant as others had also sung its praises and it proved a good choice
Booked table for 15 but had seperate tables, had to ask for them to be put together. The house wine ran out after only 5 bottles refused to pay 27 pounds for next one on list , this meant we didnt drink as much as would like. Food was great but vegetarian option had run out, you think would be more prepared on a saturday night will not be returning.
Amazing steak, staff was courteous and attentive. Loved the fact that the chef came out from the kitchen to check if we were enjoying our meal. I'll definitely go back!
Amazing food and service. My friend and I had a lovely evening. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and what we chose lived up to expectations!
Would definitely return again and again.
Absolutely amazing steak!!! So succulent and cooked to perfection alongside the best triple cooked chips I've ever had. Such a lovely valentines evening with my hubby xxx
My husband took me here knowing I like steaks a lot. I liked this place on a very beautiful view. It was nicely decorated and the staff was very welcoming. Menu was good. For starters we both had Ceviche which was basically fresh cod marinated. I tried any such thing for the first time and I loved it. I had the rump steaks, it was so beautifully presented and it tasted amazing; very distinctive flavors and good in portions. The wine was great. At the end the desserts we had gave the dinner a perfect end. This place was simply amazing. Definitely recommended!
