Our director David Hanley will be cycling the North Coast 500 to raise money for Antonine Court, a charity very near and dear to him.
The North Coast 500 is a 516 mile long route starting and finishing at Inverness - David will be cycling for 10 days covering roughly 50 miles per day.
The Antonine charity is very special as it caters not only for people with disabilities but also for those with extremely complex needs. The centre is a lifeline, not just for the service users ...but for the families who dedicate their lives to looking after their loved ones. However, the centre is in always in need to continuous maintenance and repair and is now showing its age - The Board of Directors have embarked on an ambitious plan to raise funds to build a brand new facility and to expand the capacity of the centre to meet the demands of the surrounding communities.
As you could imagine this will be a very grueling challenge and all of us at Competence Matters wish him well on his endeavour to raise money for this very worthy charity!
