Core Bar Description
Step into Core’s first bar and find yourself transported to the urban ‘shabby chic’ streets of New York. Perfect for lunch time bookings, after work drinks and corporate functions, the venue has a mismatch of chairs and tables which you can chop and change to your heart’s desire.
Our outside area is set in a perfect location between Mansion House and Bank. The space is ideal for after work drinks and nibbles with friends during those summer months allowing you to make the most of the British summer! With direct sunlight shining throughout the day, this is an envious spot to sit at lunchtime whilst enjoying our fabulous menu
Reminding many of a New York hangout, our Cocktail Lounge is the place to be seen. With subway tiling, sleek lighting, off the- wall decor and an array of interesting, secluded spots to chill, this large and curious space is the best place to try one of our delicious cocktails. If you fancy getting your groove on after enjoying our celebrated cocktails, you can dance until dawn in our club room! The eclectically cool interior, with its bare brick pillars, graffiti walls and neon lighting declaring.

Went for drinks during happy hour this evening. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Really enjoyed a couple of hours there during Happy Hour drinking Pornstar martinis..
Will definitely be returning one weekend.�
Really friendly staff! Messed up my drinks order however game me some free ones to make up for it. Then gave me extras in my cocktails for the rest of the night. Toilets were also really clean which in a club is a massive bonus :)
The downstairs bar was nice as it wasn't packed great to dance with friends and easy to get drinks! Well done guys!
I visited Fri 7th October
Me and my group of 13 recently did cocktail making at Core as part of my hen do and its was brilliant! Our teacher - Stephano - was excellent and we all had the chance to have a go at making one. It was such great value for money with so much drink included and the food provided afterwards was lovely too :-) thanks for such a great afternoon, I would recommend the activity and the bar to anyone! Ness x x
Last Friday my colleague organised team drinks at Core Bar and we had the best time! We arrived and made real good use of the happy hour. Staff where so friendly and accommodating can't wait to return next Thursday for drinks to celebrate the bank holiday weekend!
Full wheelchair access into main bar area (also lift and disabled toilet but did not use), good food, and fab cocktails! The staff were friendly and attentive, but not so much to be annoying. We were there during the terror attacks on 3rd June; thank you for looking after us and helping us stay safe! xxx
Excellent atmosphere, opened 6 days a week and always till late...Prices are what you'd expect from a city bar, love it on Thursdays when you can have a beer pong table...spent hours on it last time I visited. Loved the bartender downstairs, I believe his name was Stefano. Will return surely.
Here for a Christmas work party which was supposed to start at 5pm. Arrived at 5.10 and the venue was not open yet. They eventually let us in but we had to wait till 5.40 pm to be served a drink as they were not set up. .. the bar staff were the most unfriendliest people and definitely lacked personalities.
The food, which was a buffet Christmas style was excellent.
The music. Well wasn’t sure what to make of it, considering the venue was catering for Christmas parties it certainly was not Christmassy as all. There was a function room playing one type of music and the bar playing another . Both loud . Every time the door opened to the function room (every minute or so) there would be a clash of music !
Although our party enjoyed themselves I wouldn’t recommend it for ‘Christmas ‘ parties as there was nothing Christmassy or exciting about this venue and the staff . However I couldn’t fault the food .
We used to spend there a lot of money every week...but last night one girl from the staff forbidden us the enter without any reason! We never gonna come back darling! London is full of pubs! Ciaooo
The worse experience in a very long time. I walked to the door with some work colleagues while some English guy heard me speaking Spanish and asked me a question and I replied smiling with just one word (not a rude one! He asked me where I leave and I replied: near!). As soon as I turn my face the doorman stops me putting his hand in front of me and says: "sorry, you are too drunk". Literally those 4 words.
I only have had 2 glasses of wine in 3h, the time I had been out at that point (everyone that knows me knows I'm not a heavy drinker). It's not an opinion, I was 100% not drunk. I told him I wasn't and he didn't have any interest of anything I had to say, basically an ignoring rude attitude. I asked if I could call my other friends already inside, for then to come out and meet the rest, and all I got was a "sorry you can't get in". Core, do you have any problems with people that speaks other languages or what's exactly the matter in this case? I work around the corner and am an usual on Fridays but I will make sure we are not back there ever again. Appalling.
