Wow! We stayed at Shoreline in St Ives and the property was breathtaking. It was literally overlooking the beach, with just a cobbled street between us and the sea. The ultimate penthouse apartment, open plan space spanning the front of the property, with wide patio doors fully sliding back onto the balcony. Modern luxury, whilst surrounded by querky cobbled streets with shops and restaurants. Wish we were still there!

Would give this 6 stars if i could! Just spent a blissful week at Sea Scape in Marazion. Absolutely exquisite property with incredible views of St Michael's Mount and private access to the beach! Beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need provided. Fell in love with the house and want to move in! Incredibly comfortable bed and was blissful falling asleep and waking up to the sounds and smell of the sea! Can't wait to go back,I didnt want to leave! Not the cheapest place to stay but definitely get what you pay for! Well worth it.

We've returned from a lovely week in St Ives and could not find fault with the wonderful Lower Hillside apartment! It is so cosy and luxurious. The place is finished to a really high standard. It is very well kitted out for a baby, which we were delighted to see as it was our first holiday with our 8 month old. The travel cot and high chair were both of a high quality and completely spotless!



The furnishings are modern and bright and you can see a lot of thought has gone into the decor throughout.



A real bonus was the wifi, it's brilliant! Better than ours at home! It's incredibly fast, especially considering there were four of us using it! Plus the tv! The Netflix and various apps provided are also a god send for families!



The flat is spacious; much bigger than we expected and the beds are very comfortable! The location is also incredible! Just minutes away from the harbour side and a number of beautiful beaches!



We would not hesitate to return to Lower Hillside! A Cornish gem indeed!!!

We stayed at the Little Barn which was just perfect� very relaxing with everything we needed.

We haven't actually needed to interact with the Admin/Management of Cornish Gems at all, but we're here now in St Ives on day 6 of 7 in the most beautiful penthouse apartment. The property is stunning, with spectacular views, well equipped and was immaculately presented. Way nicer than the hotel in St Ives we stayed in last week, which we would NOT return to! We really can't fault it at all here and certainly considering rebooking again for next year.

We have just stayed at the Blue Place at Newlyn and we had a lovely relaxing holiday, the accommodation was excellent, with a lovely view. The staff at Cornish Gems were very helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

We have just had a an amazing week in Mawgan Porth - the house Beach View was perfect, the weather was the best and the whole family didn't want to leave including the dogs.....ready to book for next year !

We had a perfect long weekend break with Cornish Gems with our two small children and their Grandparents. The team were so great in helping us choose the right property, and in recommending places to visit and eat at once we were there. Will use them again like a shot!

We had a fantastic weekend at islands reach in Newquay. The properly was immaculate and the view was stunning. Cornish gems had though of everything even having the courtesy to text me about the previous damage to the property. We also had a 'check in' call the next day as well which was a great touch. The iPads that controlled everything did confuse us a little and we could not find the ball for the table football but this was just a minor issue. We have not stopped telling friends and will be back for sure!

We booked for the first time with Cornish Gems this September after a recommendation from a friend and the property did not disappoint. It was amazing, child friendly and luxurious. Will definitely book again when visiting Cornwall. One very happy family.

Waterside (Newquay Pentire) is an outstanding property that certainly has the wow factor it is set in a beautiful location. It offers a relaxed private location with views one can truly appreciate. Perfectly located on the quieter side of Newquay but within easy walking distance of all local amenities, and just a five minute walk from both Fistral and Crantock beach.

Waterside is like a little piece of heaven, a place where you can relax and just enjoy the views, the only down side was having to leave, we will definitely return to this beautiful Cornish Gem.

The Lower Hillside apartment is just perfect! The location is spot on, a few minutes away from the shops and the sea.



Two spacious bedrooms and a lovely open plan kitchen and living room area. We had two days when the weather wasn't great but having the TV set up with Amazon prime and Netflix was a life saver!



We also really enjoyed having the private garden and had a couple of alfresco lunches! We've already booked again for next year and would highly recommend!

I stayed at the property 'Headlands'. What can I say? Luxury personified. Cleanliness second to none. There was not one part of the property that was not spotless, the standards were high throughout.



The property was beautiful. The extra touches are exactly what you would hope for from a luxury holiday home.



Cornish gems were helpful and accommodating throughout the process of booking. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great week at lovely Wild Palms in Praa Sands. Super house and view plus great setup for sandy kids with showers and drying rooms at back. All brand new and working well. Nice touches from Cornish Gems too.

Just spent a week at The Blue Place in Newlyn. This is our third booking with Cornish Gems and we have always found them easy to book with and the cottages of high quality.

The Blue Place itself is a lovely home with a wonderful view of the harbour, and views to St Michaels Mount and Penzance.

The only problem is the road that the home is on. By day there is a constant stream of traffic. It is situated at a pinch point where cars have to wait to let the others pass, at times the traffic bombs through at speed. Although it quietens down of a night, the traffic still continues and the lorries shake the house as it passes. At 0630, the constant traffic starts up again.

There is a lovely outside seating area with views onto the harbour, but behind you is the road. The people on the open top bus passed right next to us and obliged for a photograph.

We managed to park our large 4x4 in the driveway, but I had to stand in the road to stop the traffic every time we went out. Reversing in would have been impossible. There was

never any parking available on the road.

The home itself had everything that you need and the windows upstairs allowed excellent views.

The windows downstairs didn,t seem to open and had the weather been warmer, we wouldn’t have been able to sleep.

Vowed not to use this "Award Winning" Company again after a hugely disappointing stay at Porthminster Mews last Summer (building site below accommodation with early morning skip delivery/collection and ridiculous car parking). Received no follow-up despite us completing questionnaire as constructively as we could. Reluctantly rang today (Friday) to book last minute holiday only to be told that we can't be checked into any of their properties before next Friday. I wonder if the property owners are aware that they are potentially missing out on late bookings because of their agents inflexibility and apparent disinterest.

Very disappointed. Stayed at porthminuster penthouse. On arrival apartment had not been cleaned properly, plus several other issues. After several telephone calls and emails, discovered that Cornish Gems had spoken to the owners Harbour Hotels about several issues 5 days before we arrived, but still we had issues. Offered £100 recompense, which after further discussion was raised to £200. When booking luxury accommodation you do not expect to have clean before you can sit on the balcony, put your food in the fridge or feel uncomfortable sitting on grubby sofas. Lovely view from top floor bedroom but windows have not been cleaned in ages. These were the major issues, too many small issues to mention here. Shame because last years stay was great. Harbour Hotels/Cornish Gems admit that the cleanliest of the property was not acceptable. Holidays are precious, when paying for a luxury holiday at luxury prices, You do not expect this sort of thing to happen, but if it does you expect the providers to go above and beyond to try to recompense.

Major flea infestation at the old bake house...nightmare....not offered an apology, any refund and my 10 month old daughter has flew nights all over...was left in house all day with no alternative. Fleas in beds and settees, everywhere! been offered a small damp studio flat instead....where is the customer service?? Why do travel companies need to be so bad especially when we spent so much. Can anyone advise me what I should do? Would be great to hear from you! Please someone help!
