Would like to say a big thank you to courteneys who allowed us to host a baby shower, afternoon tea was 5* and accommodated egg and dairy free for one of the ladies and it was the best she has had! Was a wonderful experience and we will all be returning soon! Thank you so much for your hard work this afternoon your venue is beautiful x

Still sitting in Courteney's after a delicious breakfast and cake selection with my family. Gluten free choices for my husband who is a coeliac are not only extensive but absolutely delicious, no difference in taste at all. Staff very sweet too. Thank you so much!

My husband suggested afternoon tea for my birthday. I'm Gluten Free and it was amazing! There was no difference in the amount or appearance of the food meaning I didn't feel left out or different in what I had. Fantastic service and we will definitely go back. Will also recommend to my GF friends.

Lovely afternoon tea today at Courteney’s, for Mother’s Day. Gorgeous sandwiches, quiche, scones and cakes. More than enough for the 3 of us!

Love this coffee shop, enjoy the coffee and the sausage and cheese toastie is delicious. My dad is fussy about coffee but he always suggests meeting here as he loves there coffee. Staff are always polite and happy to help and always have a smile on there faces.... lovely place which I've told lots of people about ... keep up the brilliant work xxx

Had afternoon tea for my mums birthday here and it was delicious, so much food that we had to take some cake home with us! Highly recommend, fab prices too.

Had a lovely time yesterday, an afternoon tea was booked for ten but an extra person showed up. They were very accomodating, she ordered her own lunch (a very tasty and huge ploughmans which we helped her eat) and we all ate together. The "tea" was great, sandwiches quite plain which is to my taste but may not be everyones. The cakes beautiful and plenty of jam and cream for the scones. Boxes were brought over for us to take away the leftovers. A very pleasant and tasty meal in great surroundings. Thank you and we'll be back!!

Had a lovely full English breakfast. Very impressed that there was free water on a help yourself basis and children's cutlery. Have also had afternoon tea on another occasion and was equally impressed, we were asked what sandwiches we wanted and everything is home made with a choice of gluten free cakes etc.Another bonus is that there is no background music so you can have a nice relaxed experience.will definitely go back.

Came here for breakfast and I was really impressed; really quick yet welcoming and friendly service and the breakfast was cooked to perfection (most of it is grilled, so it's not greasy at all)

Would fully recommend to anyone in the local area, they've got loads of nice home made cakes and hot drinks on offer too, it's definitely worth trying out
