My great colleagues at work treated me to a gift card for my birthday at Cowshed. I went to the Carnaby Street in London for my facial and hand massage - it was absolutely amazing! The therapist was lovely and was telling me what products she was using. I had great skin apparently at 45 that's great news! I brought some products and have been using them and they are really lovely. Glad I wasn't paying as it was a bit expensive but for the odd treat it was well worth it - will go back ❤️

User

I would like especially to say thank you to Sarah at Cowshed Primrose Hill Front Desk who went out of her way to make my time at the spa such a pleasurable one. She was friendly and made sure my friend and I had everything we needed. We also received amazing pedicures. Highly recommended!

User

I loved the trip to Cowshed (one in east London / Shoditch house)! It was lovely especially when it was my first time to attend as it was gift from my siblings for my 21st! The staff was lovely especially when I told them that I’m profoundly deaf and they took it in their own way to make my facical soooo relaxing and the service was lovely! I will definitely recommend this to my family and friends!! Definitely will come back again! Thank you to people at Cowshed!

User

I cannot thank cowshed enough for their stretch mark balm. I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and my stretch marks were sore, bright red, itchy and would bleed throughout the night. I tried al the basic shop brought pregnancy creams and balms but they didn’t help and hurted when applied. I brought cowshed yesterday evening and I am truly amazed. For the time in weeks I slept through the night as my stretch marks didn’t itch or cause me any pain plus I woke up with no blood from them in my pjs.

Cannot praise the balm enough.

User

I absolutely love cowshed! First of all, it's not tested in animal and second, everything! The quality, the smell, the natural, the results... I've had hair problems for a long time, my scalp was dry and horrible, after trying different brands I finally found cowshed shampoo which made the difference. And hand cream after that, and face cream, body lotion,...etc. love It!

User

Had the evening primrose wrap at Soho Farmhouse this weekend. Probably the best treatment I had ever had. The therapist was lovely (think Jo) and every part of the treatment was done very professionally. The whole experience was wonderful even though I was gently told how dry my skin was and I should use body oil not lotion now. Would not hesitate to have that again there.

User

A lovely gift and experience as a leaving present from my work. Everyone was love and attentive and the massage was lovely! Would definitely recommend. Great value for money too.

This company has managed to find new exciting ways to be hopelessly incompetent. An unmitigated disaster as a shopping experience. Avoid this company and do yourself a great favor by shopping somewhere else.

1 week later - they did an outstanding job of fixing mistakes made, and made up for it with a followup letter and additional gift, the more impressive part was the sincerity of the follow through and the efforts to fix the issue, so, as much as I reviewed poorly to start with, I'm re-reviewing for a great response to resolving, and a sincere desire to improve the customer experience - thats worth a upgrade in the rating for sure.

“Manager with no sense of customer service and with a bad attitude...spoils a mother daughter day out”

Booked a trip to the Cowshed at Primrose Hill for myself and my daughter as a post GCSE treat. The plan was to have a pamper day after months of hard slog and revision...trip to the hairdresser followed by a facial at the Cowshed. Lovely! Only, the best plans don't always go to plan.

Daughter decided to have a colour change which took way longer than planned due to a complication. I turned up at the Cowshed on time and explained the situation. Initially the staff seemed understanding and ushered me to a treatment room for my own facial.

The facial and the therapist was lovely. It was only when it came to payment that things changed. Daughter had still not managed to extract herself from the hairdresser so I asked to change the time on her treatment or a later date if that wasn't possible only to be met with a could not care less attitude and a demand for payment as Cowshed have a no cancellation policy within 24 hours. They demanded I pay for both my facial and the one my daughter had not managed to get to. They refused to entertain any request to reschedule even at a quiet time on another day...we would have been flexible.

I now wish I had refused to pay, having now learnt that a payment demand for cancellation within less than 24 hours is not actually legally enforceable.

Cowshed....take more care of your public image and your customers if you would like to have repeat business.

Shame on the manger who managed to spoil our day, although I doubt she would give it a second thought. What were you thinking to hire somebody like this lady???

User

VERY DISAPPINTED with your customer service!

My golden necklace has been stolen in your Shoreditch House salon after one of your therapist removed it from my neck during my treatment!

None of my numerous calls and emails stating the great emotional and economic value of my piece of jewellery have been taken seriously from your team.

Unfortunately this is not acceptable and I have been waiting for over a week for a further investigations.

I have been released with poor apologies and a long silence.

I expected a lot more from your company.

Ridiculous.

User

To whom it may concern;

I recently purchased a voucher from Cow Shed for a birthday gift for a close friend living in London based on recommendations from friends that are Soho House members.

I recently spoke with my friend, who used her voucher at Cow Shed Carnaby and was disappointed with the experience to say the least. Her therapist sniffed the entire hour, only stopping once to use a tissue. She felt uncomfortable the entire time, and was unable to relax with someone continuously sniffing over her. At the end, the therapist apologised for her sniffing and said she hoped it didn't bother her too much, to which my friend replied honestly and said well no, I actually couldn't relax it made me feel quite uncomfortable, to which the therapist replied and said she didn't have a cold, she was only sniffing because it was hot in the room and she was concerned she would be cold. The therapist had stopped several times to turn the air conditioning on and off, and not once did she ask if the temperature was comfortable.

My friend was given a 10% discount because of this complaint, however I just don't think believe this is good enough. Personally, I wouldn't have laid there with someone sniffing over me for an hour, but not everyone is assertive in these situations. Whatever the cause, sniffing over someone while giving them a relaxation treatment is not acceptable. I would like a credit to be added back to this voucher so that she may give Cow Shed another chance at another location, as this was supposed to be a special birthday gift and a treat, not an uncomfortable experience. If not, I would like a refund on the remaining credit so I can purchase her a treatment at another business.

I emailed you 3 weeks ago and didn’t get a response. Poor on levels.

The manicure was excellent at Shoreditch house, however, my boyfriend bought me, as a treat, the Ultimate Experience and pre-paid for it. A few days later, he asked about it and turns out even though he paid 60 pounds for the ultimate manicure, I got the basic one (did not know which one he bought until after, or I would have said something right then and there.)

Not recommended, and management handled it terribly after I contacted them. Zero customer service, taking advantage of pre-paid treatment. DO NOT buy gift cards or pre-paid services, you won't get what you pay for.

User

Terrible Experience

Ordered a gift set for a relatives christmas pressie, never received a tracking number, item never arrived.

Emailed Cowshed who said its not policy to express post replacement items - shame they dont make the effort for a order that they've already screwed up once. So aksed for refund, still havent received refund.

Went online and found that Cowshed's cutoff for Christmas delivery was midday 18th Dec, so ordered a replacement before the deadline. Havent recieved email saying it has been dispatched, so looks like i paid twice for an item that i wont get before christmas.

Merry Christmas Cowsh#t!

User

Probably the worst customer service EVER! Having spent 7 days, making 7 phone calls to track down a missing order I have heard nothing but excuse, after excuse and still no order in site. Today was the best ever. I was advised the courier lives not far from me and if I would like to meet him 'somewhere', I can collect my parcel this evening. I declined and said it could wait until tomorrow. Surprise, surprise I have now received an email stating the item has been incorrectly returned and will not be delivered after all. A complete and utter waste of time - there are a lot of similar companies who offer great customer service so I will now be spending with them. Fat face and L'Occitane, thanks for superb customer service. Cowshed - your products can remain exactly there!

User

No Stars for customer service!

I was given Gorgeous Cow shower gel and body lotion as a Christmas present. I recently started using them but thought the body lotion smelt unpleasant. It’s my favourite fragrance so it wasn’t just that I didn’t like it. After speaking to Customer Services, I returned the lotion to be told ‘the product is matching our standards’ and I was promised a ‘small gift as a gesture of goodwill’ which after two weeks still hasn’t arrived. They also offered to return the original lotion to me but there was no point as I wouldn’t have used it. So I’m left with lots of shower gel and no lotion – I have no intention of buying anything else from Cowshed in the future. Whatever happened to the customer is always right?

User

I'm sadly disappointed with Cowshed Online; I've received two orders that didn't arrive with me in a very satisfactory condition. I should have received a refund on the first order, but kept it despite the damage. I now seem to be waiting a long time for a refund on the 2nd order. For a premium brand such as this, I feel reluctant to order from them again.

User

I generally love the manis and pedis at Cowshed, but today I was very disappointed. I had a normal mani booked with you, but they could not provide this as they could not remove the shellac colour I had on. I am aware that you do not offer shellac, but you should be able to take it off (or at least inform people before their appointments that you cannot do this).

User

Hello. I've been trying to get resolution all week on an order I placed but it has not been fulfilled. I paid priority service. Four days later I'm still waiting. I keep getting passed around and fobbed off. Please can someone resolve this? Thank you

User

Hello, unfortunately I've had a most unpleasant experience at Cowshed. I was generously gifted an hour long moody massage voucher in December. Upon booking my experience I was asked to pay £5 on arrival as at the prices had gone up since December. As this was a gift, I informed the cowshed by principle they should honour their gift voucher and not expect the recipient to 'top up' upon redemption. I then received confirmation they would honour the voucher and apologies for requesting a top up. After my massage, that was disappointingly weak. I was again asked for the £5! I reminded them of the prior conversations and there should be a note on the account not to trouble me (about a feeble £5 on a massage that is already so luxuriously priced). The reception then acted as though they were doing me a favour by saying they would not charge the extra 'this time' thus making me feel cheap.

VERY DISAPPINTED with your customer service!

My golden necklace has been stolen in your Shoreditch House salon after one of your therapist removed it from my neck during my treatment!

None of my numerous calls and emails stating the great emotional and economic value of my piece of jewellery have been taken seriously from your team.

Unfortunately this is not acceptable and I have been waiting for over a week for a further investigations.

I have been released with poor apologies and a long silence.

I expected a lot more from your company.

Ridiculous.

To whom it may concern;

I'm sadly disappointed with Cowshed Online; I've received two orders that didn't arrive with me in a very satisfactory condition. I should have received a refund on the first order, but kept it despite the damage. I now seem to be waiting a long time for a refund on the 2nd order. For a premium brand such as this, I feel reluctant to order from them again.

Hello. I've been trying to get resolution all week on an order I placed but it has not been fulfilled. I paid priority service. Four days later I'm still waiting. I keep getting passed around and fobbed off. Please can someone resolve this? Thank you
