The founder of the school is Michael Kern, author of the highly acclaimed book "Wisdom In The Body - The Craniosacral Approach To Essential Health", now available in ten languages.
Within the school's "biodynamic" approach there is an emphasis to work in cooperation with the underlying forces that govern our health. This involves taking a whole person and patient centred approach to treatment that incorporates an appreciation of body, mind and spirit.
Our courses deliver a wide range of skills providing students with the required foundations to effectively practice Craniosacral Therapy in a professional capacity. These skills are cultivated in a supportive and creative environment, and clinical experience is gained during the latter stages of the training at the Trust's unique teaching clinic in London.
The Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust is fully accredited by the Association of Physical and Natural Therapists (APNT), the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), as well as many international Craniosacral Therapy practitioner associations. Graduates are also awarded the designated letters B. C. S. T. (Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist), which comes from the Trust as part of its membership of the International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings.

The voice reveals our emotions; the sounds of anguish and despair or of triumph and joy are universally understood and compelling. The tone of voice tells us more than the words that are spoken; it is primal, animal – a key component of the Social Nervous System. In this workshop we will explore the role of the larynx in voice production - can we speak up for ourselves and... be heard? Are we silenced by fear or emboldened by rage? Also, the hyoid bone, formed from two pharyngeal folds in the embryo, is the anchor of the tongue. It is a central anatomical component of the throat, a solid strut in its tensegrity structure and the root of many muscles.
