Last week we shared a shot of Catherine painting a rather beautiful milk jug, so we thought it right to share it with you in all it’s glory before and after going in the kiln. Isn’t it lush!

User

As part of the Wanstead Fringe we are popping up not once, but twice at The Duke! Come on Saturday for kid's drop in ceramic painting at their brilliant annual street party, then on Thursday 13 September it's all about the adults as we host an evening mug painting workshop, which you can book here: https://creativebiscuit.eventbrite.co.uk. So come join in the fun!

User

Mug shot Monday! Grab your mug (hopefully as awesome as this yet to be glazed one painted by a customer in the cafe - just look at that grading, it’s lush) fill it with coffee, grab the week by the horns and go! We’ve also got a workshop coming up for adults at @thedukewanstead where you can paint your own mug on 13th of this month! Click on the events tab to book!

User

Recycle your inflatables! How cool is this - if you've got a deflated unicorn (which strangely accurately sums up my mood today) or a boat with a slow puncture now the summer holidays are drawing to a close why not donate it to these creative people!

User

Four week old Freyja came to visit us in the cafe today to get prints of her teeny tiny tootsies. She was, of course, the perfect customer and enjoyed a nice little nap while Tim did all the hard work. Girl after my own heart 💜 Come get your little one's prints done - they don’t stay that tiny forever sadly!

User

Try something new or simply have a night out with a difference by coming along to our second Late Night Painting evening in September!
From 6pm - 10pm on Thursday 27 September we will keep the doors open so you can paint in peace.
Pick from cups to vases and plates to cake stands. It's free to come in, just pay the £4 studio fee and the ceramics you pick to paint. Booking not always necessary (although last painters admitted at 8.30pm).
... It's a good excuse to paint something for yourself or make some personalised gifts and a great alternative night out too! You can even bring your own booze!
Reserve a table to guarantee space on the night by calling us on 02085322824

We’ve been away in the depths of Cornwall for the past week, hence the lack of posts, so lovely to return to discover our newest member of staff Catherine has been painting this beautiful milk jug with one of the writing tools. It does make us wish we were back by the coast though!

User

Looking for something to do this Bank Holiday Monday? We are open as normal for all your painting and caking needs (caking is a word, right?)

User

Not long now until our awesome Frida Brooch Workshop. The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon don’t you think! Book your spot now! https://creativebiscuit.eventbrite.co.uk< br>

User

my daughter loved it there this morning and can't wait to collect her masterpiece. brilliant place and very helpful staff. nice lunch too. thanku

User

We've just had a fantastic evening with our ranger group. Girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Tim was brilliant organising the evening for the group- great value for money. Looking forward to taking the guides next week.

User

We went her as a last minute choice on Friday as the weather was so horrid. What a brilliant place! The staff are lovely and helpful and explain everything, the food it’s really good too and the coffee is brilliant (probably more so because I could drink it hot while my son enjoyed his painting) we will definitely be coming back.

User

We just had afternoon tea for 7 ladies and painted some pottery too. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and the home made cakes were all delicious and perfect. Great afternoon. Thank you. X

User

We had our daughter's 10th birthday party in here, and I'm so glad we did! Creative biscuit took care of everything - from drinks, catering, painting to cake, even down to carving up said cake into party bag sized portions (my most hated party job). The coffee is great, and the cakes are amazing. Plus there's a small but beautiful selection of baby clothes (the dresses are hand made by the proprietor, I believe) and other bits and pieces like jewellery, cards and prints. If you haven't been in, go!

User

We had a lovely afternoon tea at (at lunchtime!)at Creative Biscuit today. Nothing was too much trouble, even when our numbers changed at the last minute! The food was delicious, especially the home made cakes and scones. A great way to spend a couple of hours!

User

We came yesterday for the first time, we was very impressed with the service. My girls were able to choose from a large variety to create their own masterpieces. I would high recommend to everyone

User

We came with 15 children from our centre, and they had a fantastic time painting their mugs. The cafe exudes a warm and cosy atmosphere and the staff were kind, accomadating, and provided clear guidance to us and the children about the painting. Would highly recommend a visit to this cafe if only for the flapjacks alone!

Many thanks

User

We came here for a hen do and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are all really lovely and helpful and they even provide glasses to bring your own fizz! Brilliant thank you

User

We absolutely love Creative Biscuit! It’s a cosy

Cafe with a toy corner for the kids. My daughter loves it so much that we held her birthday party there last week. All the children and parents had a great time and the staff were patient and very attentive to the children. The only problem is that we are running out of place to put all of my daughters masterpieces!

User

Was looking for something different to do with a group of year six children so I used the takeaway kits from the cafe and took them into my school. The children loved it,they were so excited and completely loved the activity. Tim was extremely helpful from the start and it enabled them to have a fantastic experience before they leave for secondary school! Definitely recommend it if it's not easy to get a group to the cafe. Thank you

User

Was a fantastic day ,we went there for a children's birthday party. Both children and adults enjoyed themselves, and most adults ,me included, ended up painting a mug. It was well run and owner and staff very attentive to our needs. Well done .

User

One place we're u can go and thay will talk and have a laugh with u so if ur not busy pop in and and see wat u think urself

User

My daughter and four of her friends had her 12th birthday party at creative biscuit on Friday. Nothing was too much trouble. Tim (the owner) organised milkshakes and baked the most amazing chocolate popping candy cake which was huge and lasted a good few days!!! The party throughly enjoyed themselves. Tim advised the party which ceramics to choose from as we arranged the party package and was on hand if anyone need help. I would highly recommend Creative Biscuit to anyone young and old. Thank you again for making my daughters special day run smoothly and a happy time.

User

Lovely staff, tasty food, toys for the kids to play with, interesting bits and bobs from local makers for sale. This is a lovely cafe and on top of that it's also a great pottery painting place! Can't fault it - hope it's around for a very long time.

User

A group of us had the most wonderful time here at our work's party, and the owners, Karen and Tim couldn't have been any more lovely and helpful! The brownies are also the best you'll have in London!!! Thank you for a fabulous evening - we'll be back soon!

User

A fantastic way to spend an evening. Great atmosphere, great way to relax and great coffee.

User

We had a lovely time and very much enjoyed ourselves can't wait to pick up stuff and hopefully bring grandma

User

My daughter have had an amazing time with her friends celebrating her 4th bday!

User

I had my daughter's 6th birthday party yesterday and the kids loved it. The rainbow cheesecake was amazing and the best part is that the kids will receive their ceramics later this week which will come as a surprise to them no doubt.

User

We went to creative biscuit on Saturday, the girls loved the pottery painting, but a negative was the food, a long wait for a jacket spud and the chap doing the food couldn't accommodate a half and half sandwich(half ham/half egg mayo) for my young daughter, which was surprising as it really isn't a difficult request and especially as it's aimed at children I would of thought they would go out there way to accommodate.

User

I don't really think it is value for money! If you take a small child with less than wonderful painting skills you don't really want to pay £ 15 for a 20 minute activity. The ceramics are expensive the cheapest one being £10 even for a plain heart shape. This might be okay for an older child but it is not something you would do regularly with a small child. Shame as could be really good little activity. Place was nice. Staff pleasant and helpful.

User
