What an awesome hotel, ideally located in Harrogate City centre with lots of good quality pubs and restaurants in the area. We had use of the Club Lounge which was stocked very well. Highly recommend staying as the rooms are spacious with high quality finishing.

Very clean, modern well equipped room. Food deal for evening meal excellent & amazing choice at breakfast.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crowne Plaza Harrogate , we had a Club toom on the 9th floor , room was amazing with a king size bed , a walk in shower and lots of amenities including dressing gown and slippers , room was spotless , we ate dinner and breakfast in the dining room and both meals was superb , we had access to the Club room with free drinks and nibbles which was a lovely surprise , car parking wax £7 per night which we though very reasonable , we can’t wait to book this hotel again , would highly recommend!

Just had a 3 night stop at the Crowne Plaza and we were very happy with our choice of hotel. We had a room on the 6th floor with views across Harrogate, the room was spotless, well furnished with comfortable twin beds and a nice bathroom with an over bath shower. We had breakfast each morning, there was a good choice of hot and cold food, we did not eat dinner in the hotel but we did have a snack of sweet potato chips and onion rings in the bar and these were very nice.

Everything excellent. Easy parking, lovely welcome from reception staff, lovely room on the 11th floor with a fab view, massive bed! Welcome water and chocolate in the room in arrival and tea and coffee making facilities. Excellent breakfast with good choice and also extras on a menu cooked on request. Lovely modern hotel with lovely reception area in a brilliant location, 5 minutes walk to town with lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

User

Comfy, convenient and great staff. Will definitely stay there on our next (regular) visit to Harrogate ... assuming that they remember my glowing rating and save me a very special room

User

nice short stay. our room was ready at 11.15 so well impressed (check in wad normally 3pm). really pleasant staff. lovely and clean. breakfast was really nice. red hot as well. Alan had omelette cooked fresh so large couldn't eat it all. yeah car park bays small but so what cars are now bigger lol. and £7.00 is cheap compared with other hotels. would definitely stay again.

User

We enjoyed our stay we thought products was over priced and would have liked breakfast in our room with out extra charge think people should have that option where they eat breakfast

User

Very impressive looking lobby bar and executive room on floor 9 was gorgeous.

Check in was basic, no info on where things were times for breakfast etc. Checking out was a long wait for to queues and only one member of staff on. Little issues spoilt it really, the card for the club lounge didn’t seem to enabled and flowers that were promised to be In the room weren’t. Breakfast was very good. The lady checking us in for breakfast was lovely really bubbly didn’t get her name though. Would return!

User

This was a great hotel....... bed was comfy and the room was clean. The only points which stopped me giving 5* is during our 2 night stay we didn't av a maid attend our room so the coffee station was restocked, the bed wasn't made and mostly the room service tray wasn't removed from the 1st nights stay. We expected a little better service especially paying for the club room (level 9) & The shower was red hot and wouldn't cool down regardless turning the temperature down.

User

It was excellent the only thing that let it down was when checking in we were not given enough information for example the car parking was not explained

User

As people have said the Loby area is wonderful, rooms very comfortable and clean. Disappointed we only had one bath towel (but it was soon sorted) to eat and drink in was expensive to be honest but food was lovely. Great to have parking under the hotel but was shocked we had to pay £7.00 a night on top of hotel rate. But having said all that we had a lovely stay

User

The room was cold on arrival and the air conditioning did not work. We had to get the duty manager to provide a heater and start the air conditioning working. For breakfast the plates were cold which meant the food put on them was cold by the time I finished the meal. Only one fried egg available which was over done and like a piece of rubber. Overall the service was good but the hotel was not as efficient for the reputation given.

User

Lovely hotel. Room was clean with everything as it should be. Not much information given on check in such as car park fee procedures, restaurant times and info etc.

When we needed answers to queries that we had the service on reception was a little inconsistent. All staff were courteous and polite though knowledge varied. One query took three separate enquiries to resolve. When one particular member of the reception staff became aware of the issue (Holly) it was resolved quickly and efficiently. One thing that let it down was the breakfast. Having eaten an evening meal the previous night we found the food and service in the restaurant to be of good quality however we were disappointed with breakfast. Welcomed by staff but were not given sufficient explanation of where things were. No sugar or teaspoons on the table. The “hot food” was like warm. We did not have breakfast on the second morning. It’s a shame as it was otherwise an enjoyable stay. Would return to stay there without breakfast.

User

Hotel is very clean, room is lovely with a massive bed. Although we did have to empty the previous guests rubbish from our fridge. Went down for breakfast this morning at 9am was grunted at by a waitress when I asked for coffee and we stood waiting 10 mins for them to replenish the buffet breakfast bar and finally gave up when nothing seemed to appear.

Then we return to our room at 4.30pm and housekeeping seem to have neglected to clean our room, bed not made, no clean towels or coffee making equipment... all minor complaints yes, I know, but we’ve paid our money the same as everyone else!

And after laying here for 30mins it would seem the heatings not working either!!!

User

Bedroom was nice bed and bedding very comfortable. Air conditioning/ heating was poor, our bedroom window was covered in condensation in fact it was dripping with water. Breakfast was very disappointing, tea and coffee lukewarm when we mentioned it fresh was brought but again lukewarm. The staff was filling pots from thermo flask how long had they stood. Cooked breakfast again lukewarm served on cold plates. The hotel really need to get this sorted. We mentioned all at reception on checking out, all was noted and informed that it would be looked into. Our bar tariff from the night before was knocked of our bill so no extra's to pay for. So well worth letting reception know how you found every thing.
