Visited the Crypt this morning, great shop!

Visited the Crypt last Friday for the first time. Great store. Being someone who remembers Shades Records in the late 80's/early 90's (and long since closed down), it was awesome to once again go to a shop that sells nothing but Metal. Had Satyricon playing throughout my visit, which was nice. Had a great chat with Marcus (top bloke) and came away with 2 records and 2 shirts (one a Crypt of the Wizard - had to be done). Could have quite easily spent several hundred pounds in there. Will definitely return at some point (I live in Bournemouth, so it's a bit of a journey). And I'll bring more money next time. Thanks again Marcus.

Visited for the first time today and this place is an absolute gold mine. It's got a great selection of records and tapes, friendly and helpful staff and some nice merch too. I will definitely be back to pick up more awesome records.

This shop is incredible. The heaviest range of records along with a genuine personality. Long live Crypt of the Wizard!

Pilgrimage made today. Picked up the new WITTR and a couple of COTW tee designs. Great shop, welcoming atmosphere, good to chat with the owners too, top chaps! Highly recommend you visit soon, I’ll be back! �����

Only had a few minutes to pop in before I had to leave to catch a flight. Those few minutes left me impressed! I'll be back to raise some hell soon. If you're in London, take a trip to the Crypt!

Must visit, from classics to underground gems I'm glad I came by to check it out. Staff was super helpful and nice and the place itself had a nice vibe to it. I live on the other side of the pond but when I come through again I will definitely revisit Crypt of the Wizard! Thanks again

Incredible selection. About time there was a record shop in London that catered to finer taste. Fantastic and friendly staff. Great coffee. Happy to assist with gig promotion (sticking up a poster, distributing flyers to customers).

I'm not a huge metal fan but I went with a friend and I must say this a great shop. There are not many genre dedicated record shops around so to have one run by passionate metallers where you can get unusual stuff is great.

First visit yesterday. Belgian hardcore punk guy behind the counter on his first day. I was his first ever customer! I was most impressed when I said “I want something that sounds like it was recorded in a cave by goblins. In Norway. In the winter.” And without hesitation he pulled exactly that off the racks!

Finally made it to the Crypt all the way from New Zealand!! The staff dude was epicly nice and helpful!! The selection was ace!! Managed to get a copy of Blessed Black Wings by High on Fire and I’m stoked as shit!! For any Metal lover visiting London go and visit and give them all your moneys!!

Fantastic selection of records, great atmosphere and friendly staff who are extremely knowledgeable and give great advice. I’ll be back soon!

Absolutely refreshing to find a record store dedicated to metal! There’s hope for metalheads in London after all. Now if we only had a proper metal bar/club...
