Yesterday was only my second visit to the Cutty Sark pub as I am new to the area. My parents were visiting and I wanted to take them someone special and unique, and I couldn't think of anywhere better; it's riverside setting, beautiful interior, great and affordable food AND nearing overly friendly staff (no such thing!) make this one of the best pubs in Greenwich. I'd recommend it 100%!

User

One of my favourites on the river great views good food and drink, however liked it better when it was more Pub than Restaurant, now only allowed in ground floor unless your dining, restricted to 1/3rd of the venue we need more real pubs - with food on the river! But I still like it a lot.

User

My puppy had the time of her life walking around the pub all afternoon 🐶💃🏻🍷

User

My partner & I came here for our first date which left a lasting impression, we keep coming back, we really love it here. Very attentive service, great choice craft beers (which my partner loves) and the food is scrummy. Shame we dont live a little closer we'd be in here every weekend!

User

Lovely welcoming quaint trad pub right on the banks of the Thames. Fantastic coffee fantastic atmosphere and fantastic views of the Tall Ships sailing by

We will definitely be back 💕

Your staffing team were brilliant - really friendly and attentive

5 stars and highly recommended. We didn't eat there but the food looked and smelled amazing g 😀👍

User

Love it there - always a warm welcome and so very dog friendly. Food is excellent and there is something for both vegans and meat 🍖🥩 eaters.

User

Had a lovely day sun was shinning waitress service was good and the scotch eggs was to die for 😊

User

Great location right on the Thames, with lots of outdoor seating (and even more outdoor standing room). The interior is one of the nicest pubs we've been to in England, the Sunday roast was very nice, and they have a solid beer selection, too. Well worth the walk down the riverside for a visit!

User

Great location and views ,friendly staff, quick service and well kept and very reasonably priced beers given the location. Only criticism is that the place was understaffed given the time it took to clear glasses and plates etc.

User

Fantastic pub , beautiful inside and fantastic views outside. I had the cod and triple fried chips , it was lovely and crispy and took up most of my plate. My husband had the burger meals which he said was very tasty . I would recommend you going there. I will certainly be going back !!!

User

Excellent fish and chips and a lovely bottle of Camden Pale. Finished off with a superb chocolate brownie. All the point earned in the walk here were spent happily! The dog was welcome here as well.

User

But the prices are very high and questionable. Does the post code warrant the price tag????????

User

We arrived at the pub after a nice riverside walk having booked a table. There was a guy behind the bar who was struggling with the beer taps because it was the beginning of his employment. I got the feeling he just needed showing the ropes and a bit of genuine guidance. The girl he asked for help made more of a point of what he was doing wrong, ridiculed him rather than help in front of us.

Really made the situation harder for everyone. I just think with a little more care people can be nicer and everyone would benefit.

The food took 1.5 hours and the ceaser salads were average but the fish pie was great and the scotch eggs are awesome. Superb setting and view. Lovely weather. I love these classic pubs. So great.

I just don’t take well to inconsiderate people and atmospheres caused when someone is out of their comfort zone and made to feel silly.

Would definately return and recommend the pub/ location.

User

Used to come here loads not been back for a while since the manager left she was amazing and the food was terrific.

Service is good but the foods a bit hit and miss now I feel and apparently it's depending on who's in the kitchen (their words not mine) I had fish and chips last night, the fish batter was pretty soggy and flat, I couldn't believe it when the guy next to me got the same and his fish was massive and crispy and nearly off the plate. To late to complain as I was starving from walking the Thames path and had eaten all but the skin, that went to the dog! Beer is good and I like the atmosphere shame the foots off the gas a bit in the food dept. Sweet was good though!

User

They have changed to table service now, but the waiting times it's even longer now. How can you explain that it takes about 20 mins to get just 1 pint of beer? When I asked a lady about ordering she said, I don't do that job, I'll call my colleague (but she was busy cleaning other tables)

User

I love this place but.....sort your service out. Good food, location but queues at the bar are ridiculous. Missed items off orders and waiting 30 minutes for a drink make me not want to visit. I think it could be amazing if you sorted out the bar

User

Good river side views pub. Nice venue if you are outside enjoying the good weather. Fisn n chips was excellent. Drinks on the pricey side. Too many staff collecting glasses (before you finish drinks) not enough serving customers quickly enough. Food arrived before the drinks. Otherwise its ok.

User

Beautiful old and atmospheric pub. Unfortunately the food was not good, I had pork belly with potatoes and vegetables. The potatoes were too dry and hard, pork belly very salty. Beer was also flat. Wouldn't recommend

User

Starter was not what was on the menu but failed to tell us, ordered dessert only to be told after they didn’t have it, friends desserts were brought out in the same dish and price of an average bottle of wine was £25 so four people eating pub grub it cost £200 which I thought was a lot baring in mind all the serving errors but very nice setting
