Another successful Anti-Bullying workshop was carried out on Friday 10th May for a year 7 class, covering topics such as choosing respect, social media and friendships. Anti-bullying ambassadors did an amazing job and the year 7 group contributed very well!

We are very proud to announce that our wonderful Chief Technician and STEM Coordinator Angie Ridout has been shortlisted for an ENTHUSE award in STEM teaching. Watch this space to find out if she wins. Good luck!

STEMettes were invited to a NHS Taster Day where they discovered a number of careers. They took part in a number of activities, including how to do CPR and use a defribulator, how different sight impairments look and wearing a GERT suit which simulates old age. They also partook in a mental wellbeing lecture

After an amazing two days of orienteering, cooking, and laughter, our Year 9s are finally home safe and sound.

On Wednesday 3rd April, 16 students from the ARP visited Eastbury Manor House to experience life as a Tudor. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
They took part in Tudor dancing, Tudor games such a hoop la or quoits which was a lot of fun. They ran through the walled garden and took a walk through the herb garden. All the students were intrigued to find out what Barking and Dagenham was like 400 years ago.
