Christmas @ Davenheath. All the team got together to compete against each other in a London quiz, on a vintage London bus, hosted by Alan Dedicoat!! Followed by a delcious Turkish Gokyuzu. Lots of fun & lots of drink was had by all. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL, AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT!

3 O'Clock at the office will never be the same again ..... Pete retired! Every day for the past 6 years Pete, without fail, devoured his banana at 3pm. It was very fitting his cake retirement cake reflected this! 🍌
Major fire averted by quick thinking of Steven Pike, aged 23.
On Sunday afternoon Steve, comfortably sitting at home with his wife and child, noticed a strong burning smell. He looked out of the window to discover a waste bin had caught on fire which was right next to wood chips and dangerously close to the gas intake of the flats where he lived.
He rushed his family to safety and then rushed to his van to take out extinguishers in order to tackle the fire whilst neighbours’... contacted the fire brigade. Steve, conveniently being a fire extinguisher engineer for Davenheath Limited, was able to confidently tackle the blaze until the fire brigade arrived.
The fire officer praised Steve for his quick thinking and said his actions prevented the fire from escalating and developing into a major fire in the flats due to the close proximity of the gas pipes.
Well Done Steve.

It's that time of year again, stockings are out and the shops are open until late! Davenheath have come up with a poem to bring some Christmas cheer to facebook!

With the landlord and letting show on at the Barbican next week you might be interested in the new affordable housing one of our engineers found the other day. Quite a high fire risk though!
