Such a great place with a lovely atmosphere!

Great club

Been a member for just over a week so very new but my family and I (5 of us in total) have spent everyday here swimming, gym, tennis courts, kids clubs & cafe/restaurant and we love it! The staff are all very friendly and helpful, all areas are always clean and fully stocked I.e towels, shampoo & conditioners the lifeguards are very child friendly and on it! And the food is amazing. I have yet to try the spa but IŌĆÖm sure itŌĆÖs as good as the rest of the place. No faults so far!!! Thanks to Alex for signing us up and looking after us ’┐Į 10/10

Always such a great vibe -from simply grabbing a coffee with friends, or having a work out, relaxing in the spa or my kids enjoying one of the many activities offered for them. CouldnŌĆÖt be without our family membership!

Its a lovely place, spotlessly clean and well maintained, friendly staff, good location, but 1 criticism is they left the patio doors wide open by the pool, it was freezing swimming in the lane area (its October) also the lanes could do with being wider, I kept hitting the wall...

I love my Club. I look forward to attending any of the many classes available to us, and I often try new classes. The instructors are great and the gym floor staff are always willing to help. I also swim, and we can often swim with a lane to ourselves. I would like to give a special mention to the front of house staff who are always so lovely and friendly. They do an outstanding job at welcoming us - always with a cheery approach. My reason for not giving 5 stars is that several times I have written positive feedback about various staff members (credit where credit is due) and this is not fed back to the staff which is disappointing from Management level.

Disappointed makeover, adding new members not growing classes and it's dirty! No cleaner in the gym changing rooms between 8 am 930!

Attended a childrenŌĆÖs party at the Royal Bracknell club this afternoon and on behalf of the parents of the birthday boy I feel some feedback is needed. While the premise of the parties was fine. Soft play then games and then lunch and birthday cake. If I had been the parents of the four year old birthday boy I would have been very disappointed.



On arrival there was not sign directing us. I asked at the desk and and was sent in the completely wrong direction.



The two girls running the party were totally disinterested and miserable. Anything that was needed had to be asked for, they had no initiative.



When they did take the kids into the next room they played a couple of basic party games and then left the kids to it.



Lunch was breaded chicken and chips. This was roasting hot and none of the children wanted it till it was edible.



The poor parents had to ask for everything - matches, cake to be opened, cake knife etc. The girls would then disappear and return normally by the time the parents and other adults had sorted the need out themselves.

The room where the kids had lunch was ridiculously hot. Parents started taking children home to escape the heat.

For the whole time we were there they was no refreshments for parents which was a shame.



I dread to think what the birthday boys parents paid but they were let down by David Lloyd Bracknell.



Thank you for the invite but I feel very sorry for the birthday boys parents.

Treated with utter disrespect and discrimination

This club is appalling - I tried to end my membership in April, and they have found convenient ways of stringing my payments out until June even though I'm only meant to be on one month's notice

So far have been debited ┬Ż200 without even setting foot inside. Have chased by email and phone for two weeks since they screwed up my membership. Money grabbers! If I do not receive an email response by tomorrow- expect me in your reception and in touch with your head office.

Since DL have taken over membership Price increase due to so called Refurb Airconditioning in the Gym is still inconsistent - False advertisement on their Website showing they have more Gym machines than they actually do i.e 4 skill mills !!!!.



Cleaner's spraying cleaning products to clean equipment whilst members trying to train - surely Health and Safety issue. and using the members issued towels!!!



DL do NOT VALUE LOYALTY - they would rather have new members than those that have been with the club for many Years - there offer have this free guest pass for a day .



Consider another club before this one !

Lies!!! Signed up to something that was NOT on offer, made several complaints without a response to date! Shocking conduct to get membership.....

Hugely disappointed in #davidlloydclubs today for taking away access to certain clubs depending on how much you can afford to pay, despite their assurance on sign up that I can use any club I want. This will seriously affect my already expensive membership. ItŌĆÖs a good club, but not anywhere near worth the money they ask.

Going down since David Lloyd took over virgin active. Renovation work has been completed with cheap material and will need to be redone in a couple of years. Many benefits have been taken away. Most importantly pools will only be supervised between 3 and 730 pm from mid January. A quick calculation means a 230-250k saving per year for David Lloyd. Boosting profits at expenses of membersŌĆÖ safety. Yes other gyms have indeed unsupervised pools but their price per month is 50 per cent less. In Essence, no value for money. Sadly they are the only health club in the area and take advantage of this situation

Elitist money grabbers. Our kids used to have tennis lessons there and we had considered taking out family membership but even with a corporate discount it was more expensive than other DL clubs in the vicinity and the T&Cs are very restrictive. Within days of declining membership, and having just finished one term of tennis lessons, we were told that they were cancelling all lessons to ŌĆ£non-membersŌĆØ. We contacted our kidŌĆÖs instructor directly as he is a neighbour on our estate and he didnŌĆÖt reply back. Gagged, I bet. Very shoddy behaviour.

Avoid as much as you can now it's David Lloyd. Wasted so much knew on refurb. Fees now going up again in Jan. Gym equipment it of date . Been a mama bet for years and now treated like a number soon to be ex member, with a few others.
