Lovely, clean,well maintained great for families. I love that my daughter can do a class while I am in the gym included in the membership price, it's not cheap but I think it's good value considering all they have to offer. All staff are friendly and welcoming. I did look at a few other gyms however they where as family motivated there is even actives for tots too. There are lots of classes to do however slightly disappointing that some classes are always full. As I work long hours I can't be as flexible getting in to certain classes. The gym is great and has lots of helpful gym staff regularly on the floor and they offer lots of one to one classes for all ages

Amazing club. Amazing people. Throughout my time I have always been pleased and any problems have been addressed. I also want to say dl kids team are superb x

It's my 2nd home and go at least 4 times a week.

My children grew up first attending the cresh learning to play tennis swimming and then the gym.

One is a yoga teacher the other in buisness but is in to healthy living.



I believe starting life in David Lloyd set them on the right path to a good life style.



The club is a way of life for me and so glad I have it.

Good wide range of equipment in the gym. Changing rooms fine. Parking free and enough. Cafe ok... didn't get time to try anything else... Tennis courts were active all day :) Definitely would be interested in joining if I lived nearby.

It's a good club, but DL really needs to work on its communication - which is really shockingly bad. Why is there no option to post on this page? Also if it's too difficult to email (though I'm not sure why) is it possible to use this page to inform members if some of the club's facilities are closed. Two Tuesdays running I've turned up to find the outdoor pool closed. It's not that I mind so much if it's closed due to technical problems or adverse weather, but it would be nice to know beforehand. It really shouldn't be too difficult in this day and age to use social media effectively

I like the club & facilities however coming up for renewal I was shocked to find out that the price for Off peak Individual has increased by 11%. Also reduced the discount from 10% to 5% for paying yearly. But most shocking of all is the price for a Couple Peak Time, (use club anytime) is cheaper then Individual Off Peak ( use club before 4pm) Where is the common sense in that? Discrimination against single/ individual people joining David Lloyd. Last summer they renovated the gym for a month without compensating . Then it was the pool for another month. I'm hoping this is an admin error & they do want to retain the people that endured that inconvenience & supported the club. I'm not sure I would recommend my friends to this club anymore. Very disappointed.

Coffe, coffee, coffee!!! We want good coffee not dishwashing water. Food is not tasty as well. We love the cafƩ which tempted us to join the club, but because bad coffee and food quality, we go elsewhere after exercise, to have coffee and food. There is only one person who can make good coffee and sadly he is not in every day and every hour. Such a waste of money and space when you pay so much to be a member. Please do something.



Your advertisement of new menu excited me and I ordered Goats Cheese Salad, yesterday. What a disappointment!! I eat Goats Cheese Salad at other cafes and your salad was by far the worst tasting. Whose idea it was to put raw cabbage leaves in to this salad while you could use tender spinach and other tasty greens?! Is it because they are cheaper?! You had a lovely Mexican Bean Soup last year and you had to get rid of it because it was tasty!! What are you trying to do?!!



Also, it takes ages to get a call back and near impossible book a class. I am paying extra to go to Pilates classes in another club. Could not get personal trainers giving me a call in time (months), so I booked a personal trainer outside the club.

After spending a thoroughly enjoyable day with my husband and friends enjoying the outdoor pool.. we decided to bring my 10 year old daughter after school for a swim in the outdoor pool.. only to be told that there was no lifeguard on duty.. baring in mind that the temperature was 22 degrees.. so she could not swim.. we were told they look at the temperature on a daily basis and decide then if a lifeguard outside is needed!! One wonders why they are called a family club and why they have an outdoor pool?In days gone by there was always certain times when a life guard was on duty especially in the summer months.. I have been a member here for many years but today was disgusted by the attitude of certain managers!!

Scam artists. I expressly stated on the phone that we wanted to cancel all our family memberships and agreed to give three months notice via email. They carried on taking payments for my partner's membership for another, extra three months, claiming this was because my mail refered to cancelling all 'linked accounts' and they didn't have the accounts linked on their system. Pretty obvious and deliberate con. Avoid.

Overpriced, undercleaned and lacking in customer service all round. People vaping at the cafe counter just tops off the whole experience- much better places around.

Kids area is awful and full of dirt!!

Little kids are crawling in that dirt! Outrageous!!

Never a clean table available!

Kids entertainer kept his legs on the table.. the other day!!!how discussing!! Tables are used for eating not to hold pair of sweaty legs!!!!

Its supposed to be the best. But nothing but headache. From them saying they dont have the staff to run upstairs cafe or half of the classes. From them closing down classes for 2 days to redecorate. Closing all kids classes for a week during bank holiday and them now closing again today because pools rnt working? How is that my problem. Why am i paying when icant use it. Then they refuse to let me come out a month early even with all these issues.

Dear David Lloyd. I have just been to your club in Finchley for a tour of the gym with the intention to join. I did like the gym and what it has to offer, however when it was time to look at the membership options I was horrified to learn that because I was joining on my own, as a single adult, I would be paying Ā£25 more per month than a couple. This is pure discrimination against single people. Single people already have to pay rent or a mortgage on their own, nobody to split the bills with, life is already more expensive for us so to find out that we would be punished in price in a gym membership is simply a kick in the teeth. I explained my concerns to the sales manager showing me the gym and I must say she was not even polite about it. Needles to say I did not join your club today, sadly.

Customer service in your restaurant is a joke. It is now 13.48 and I ordered food at 13.21. An omelette and a jacket potato. It's appalling. You are in breach of the trade descriptions act by calling this a restaurant. For the fees you charge it should be excellent. End of.

Beware having kids party here. Half my daughters presents went missing and were returned to us the next morning all had been opened even the cards.

Left over food we were told would be wrapped up... All disappeared.

Kids left seated for ages waiting for food. No staff to be seen. Cancelled the ice cream as didn't have time.

Was assured the team would contact me left several messages and emails sent.No response, no investigation. If there has been no one has bothered to inform me.So parents be vigilant!

Not sure where I can escalate this matter. Can someone advise me! Thanks

A horrid club, such a contrast to the luxurious image it projects in it's advertising online. I have been a member of the Berkshire Rackets club for many years, when the club was owned by Esporta and then Virgin. I was happy with my club membership when it was run by these two companies. The club has deteriorated quickly under David Lloyd. It is in my experience often cold, dirty and poorly run.The jacuzzi and sauna have been out of use on numerous occasions, there was a significant sized mould patch on one side of the Jacuzzi left there for weeks. My family and I had to where coats in the bar area this winter because the heating broke down, it was very cold, we couldn't take anything off. The majority of the staff are unfriendly and can be rude, hard to find a member there to help you. They have made mistakes with our direct debit fees too. In addition to this if you do some simple searches online you will see that this company has been fined large sums of money recently for safety breeches, a drowning in one branch and a man (a member) blinded in one of their Northern branches. Which is terrible.

20+% hike in fees from 2016 to this year. However, the cleanliness is worse - for example Jacuzzi just been shut because there is brown grime on the tiles which hasn't been cleaned!

Customer service in your restaurant is a joke. It is now 13.48 and I ordered food at 13.21. An omelette and a jacket potato. It's appalling. You are in breach of the trade descriptions act by calling this a restaurant. For the fees you charge it should be excellent. End of.

Beware having kids party here. Half my daughters presents went missing and were returned to us the next morning all had been opened even the cards.

Left over food we were told would be wrapped up... All disappeared.

Kids left seated for ages waiting for food. No staff to be seen. Cancelled the ice cream as didn't have time.

Was assured the team would contact me left several messages and emails sent.No response, no investigation. If there has been no one has bothered to inform me.So parents be vigilant!

Not sure where I can escalate this matter. Can someone advise me! Thanks

A horrid club, such a contrast to the luxurious image it projects in it's advertising online. I have been a member of the Berkshire Rackets club for many years, when the club was owned by Esporta and then Virgin. I was happy with my club membership when it was run by these two companies. The club has deteriorated quickly under David Lloyd. It is in my experience often cold, dirty and poorly run.The jacuzzi and sauna have been out of use on numerous occasions, there was a significant sized mould patch on one side of the Jacuzzi left there for weeks. My family and I had to where coats in the bar area this winter because the heating broke down, it was very cold, we couldn't take anything off. The majority of the staff are unfriendly and can be rude, hard to find a member there to help you. They have made mistakes with our direct debit fees too. In addition to this if you do some simple searches online you will see that this company has been fined large sums of money recently for safety breeches, a drowning in one branch and a man (a member) blinded in one of their Northern branches. Which is terrible.

20+% hike in fees from 2016 to this year. However, the cleanliness is worse - for example Jacuzzi just been shut because there is brown grime on the tiles which hasn't been cleaned!



David Lloyd - why are you charging members more for lower standards!?
