Words can not explain how much we love the Deer Park and how every time we visit it always exceeds our expectations. We recently got married here and we are so glad we did! The venue, service, food, accommodation, staff.... and their love, passion and care clearly shine through every part. In our eyes it is the best wedding venue we have ever been to and I'm sure we will find an excuse to return, so we can experience again all the lovely things this place has to offer.

We had the most wonderful wedding at the Deer Park Hotel on the 17th December 2017.

Sophie and the rest of the staff were all so helpful and attentive and made the day go so smoothly.

The entire hotel was decked out in beautiful Christmas decorations which really added to the atmosphere and the food and drink was absolutely delicious as well.

Couldn't recommend the Deer Park Hotel enough for a wedding or an event.

Thank you so much for making our wedding such a wonderful day!

We had never hear of deer park until we started looking for places to get married, and it was the first place we looked at!

Everywhere afterwards we visited just didn’t have that feeling!!

I would get goosebumps just driving up the drive!

The whole setting really was beautiful, so I just knew it was the place for our wedding.



And Wow!!!!

It Truly was the best choice, We had our wedding here on the 6th July and couldn’t of asked for a better place, it was one of our best days ever!!

The food was amazing, the staff were fantastic, the whole package was wonderful!!

We can’t thank Sophie enough for all that she has done for us, from day one she was lovely, very very helpful, always there to answer your questions and always knowing what to do next!!



She has a great team behind her, and I know that everyone that came that day really did have lovely day!!



We look forward in coming back lots more times for cream teas, Sunday roasts and just to have a drink to catch the wonderful views and gardens around there!

We got married at Deer Park on 10th June this year and we can't thank everyone at Deer Park enough for their help, support and kindness during the run up and on our big day itself. We had the most incredible day and Kate, Sophie and Mark made sure it went off without a hitch! Also a big thank you to Bev who was always there to greet us every time we turned up at reception for meetings and thank you to Gabby aswell (even though she's off travelling) she was the first person to get us all booked in, made us feel welcome and kept us updated (then poor Kate had to put up with my constant questions....sorry). We first visited at the opening of the Orangery last year....then you couldn't keep us away! I think we attended nearly every wedding fair you put on before our big day. Our ceremony was at the summer house and our reception and evening do was in the Orangery. Our guests commented on how relaxed and enjoyable the day was and also commented on the beauty of the house, grounds and staff. Several saying it was the best wedding they had been to because of how smooth the day went. During the meal, the staff were available and accommodating and you never felt they were hovering, waiting to clear away your plates, you weren't rushed and the food was absolutely beautiful! I could literally go on and on about how wonderful Deer Park and the amazing staff are but I will stop and just say, if you're considering visiting...book in for Sunday lunch and explore the grounds...we can't wait to go back! We are currently staying in the tree house for my husbands birthday. It’s amazing! So cosy and well equip. We are real foodies and the hotels top class restaurant, wine list and service just makes this place perfect ! 5 star every time . Well done x

We got married back in June and from our first visit we fell completely in love with it.

The grounds are absolutely stunning, the house is beautiful, food was delicious and the staff cannot do enough for you.

The biggest Thank you must go to Kate our wedding co-ordinater who did a brilliant job from all the planning beforehand right through to the day where she ensured everything ran smoothly and to plan, we cannot thank you enough.

Our stay in the treehouse was fabulous and just topped off our perfect day.

We shall be back for many visits! Again thank you all so much.

Just had afternoon tea here for my sister's 70th. It was absolutely magical, from the pretty mismatched china, to the cakes, scones, sandwiches, everything just perfect. We couldn't fault it and had the best time. The staff were lovely, attentive but without being too much, and the outside gardens and surroundings are beautiful. A truly lovely place to visit, very well presented without a hint of stuffiness.

Just come back to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and stayed in the wonderful tree house again...! ILoved every second of our stay, these guys always make you feel so welcome and it's such a special place for us, we have said we will return every year! Top notch food, drink and hospitality, and despite the awful weather recently you still maintain your wonderful grounds so beautifully! Thank you deer park, we love you guys xx � � � �

I was recently given the pleasure of staying at The Deer Park Country House, with my husband in celebrating our one year anniversary. It was the perfect getaway, quiet and remote, the service was impeccable and the treehouse we stayed in was the ideal home away from home, and was equipped with everything we could need for a perfect stay.



The food was absolutely incredible, the presentation was amazing and the taste, even better! The grounds are the perfect place for a stroll enjoying the beautiful gardens and idyllic scenery and the room was perfect for a quiet drink with friends in the evening looking out onto sunset.



A special thank you to Mark Godfrey, the Managing Director, for arranging complimentary champagne and strawberries as well as the wonderful gift. What a personal touch! We were well cared for and the stay was the break we much needed to relax and get away from our busy lives. Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a wonderful stay, we will definitely be returning.

I absolutely cannot fault anything about the Deer Park Country Hotel.

I booked my wedding here back in November after being shown around and being stunned by the venue and the package being offered.

The whole wedding was taken care of by the very lovely, attentive and caring Kate. The service she, and all other staff at the Deer Park, provided was seriously 'top notch'. I felt like the whole day was in great hands.

On the actually day Kate and her team looked after us so well. We were checked on regularly and Kate did all the time-keeping for us so we didn't have to worry about that part. The orangery looked stunning and was set out exactly how I asked. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone commented on how nice it was. The treehouse for myself and my husband was the icing on the cake.

Thank you so much to everyone at the Deer Park for making the day of the dreams perfect. We will certainly be back.

We walked around the Deer park to walk off the yummy tea. Just beautiful. All the staff around stopped to talk to us. Nothing was to much trouble for anyone. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back 👍👍👍

Deer Park is the most spectacular wedding venue with such choice of great food and amazing photo oportunities the staff are very professional as well as friendly highly recommended!!

Could not fault this place in any way whatsoever. The staff are so friendly and the service is absolutely on point. Every single aspect of the wedding I attended was perfect l! A superb hotel with the setting, rooms and food, complimenting the excellent customer service from all the staff. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, set in a wonderful rural location, whilst also being easily accessible from the A30. In addition, if you have a dog, they are also warmly welcomed and looked after. A truly wonderful experience from the moment you arrive to when you leave.

A birthday treat for my Mum. I love this hotel and have stayed 10 times before. This was a treat for my parents. We had a lovely welcome and were shown to our rooms. They were recently refurbished and had fantastic large bathrooms and very comfortable beds.

We explored the fabulous grounds and kitchen garden before drinks in the bar. Dinner was fabulous and we were given a complimentary bottle of champagne before dinner to help celebrate my Mum’s special birthday. Thank you Mark. We slept well and enjoyed a hearty home cooked breakfast before we left. Thank you Deer Park, you exceeded my expectations yet again!

A beautiful setting and location for a Wedding or a special occasion. Had a wonderful weekend here, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff was outstanding. The banquet food was superb and my only criticism is that the buffet breakfast was that some or the food was barely warm. We stayed in the Kitchen Garden rooms and it was excellent, very comfortable with an excellent en-suite shower room. I just wished we had more time to explore the grounds and look at the fabulous classic cars that are kept there...
